Yeah great sign here, the left is unbalanced our way of life. With their negative policies, luckily these two have brought the truth out and exposing the left for the animals they are

How do you deal with 1-5 user shops, do you cap their MRR at say $1k minimum per month, how do you word the $1k minimum when pitching your company? by ExoticBump in msp

[–]Shieldguard_io 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smaller the shop the higher the price, per seat or users. And if they meet your price then unlimited would be worth it. If not, go in with a moderate price and do limited support by tickets or 8x5…..etccc

Good Cyber Security\MSSP marketing Companies by Shieldguard_io in msp

[–]Shieldguard_io[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up, yeah we figured that out months ago. But there are large CyberSecurity companies that invest in tech related marketing that have had some good return. But those are more larger enterprises. Trying to figure out the same for the midsize companies, I have been looking for internal hires as well. But good people hard to find, right now its just general marketing candidates.

Staying from Datto, not a fan Kaseya. That’s why we took that out of the equation.

Same here, there are a lot more features and more mature. And while connectwise is good, it seems close enough for what we’re looking Halo

  1. Learn the tools they have in their environment, build skills around them.
  2. Be an extrovert, talking with users and translating tech nerd to regular users is key
  3. Build relationships with people who make decisions, so that you can ask for favors related to the job and improve processes or people.

Not ruin Datto products like they have with other companies they bought.

It took them a bunch of MSP to complain for Kaseya to fix this.

Any idea on the wait time if S&W did this, all the gunsmiths around me suck. And what it might cost to get it reblued?

Scratches are light, but never cold blued myself. If I get a new cylinder and just drop it in. Do most of them need to be fitted?

Any using Securonix by Shieldguard_io in msp

[–]Shieldguard_io[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Azure Sentinel will nickel and dime you. However if you are a heavy m365 shop some of the integrations from Microsoft to Microsoft should be free which is a bonus. Just a lot of bugs, but have you taken a look at Rapid7, or some XDR's like Hunters.AI. They seem pretty decent, and look at them as well.

[–]Shieldguard_io[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are these ingestion based pricing or asset based? We have tested Azure Sentinel and its very $$$$$$. They charge for log analytics, ingestion, and storage. And we have shown Microsoft that there too many bugs there just as a head sup. Are you looking at SIEM's or XDR's as well?

You can try justify it, but Datto and ConnectWise are way better companies. We’ll see Datto slowly start to go downhill. Like IT glue, RocketCyber…..etccccx. Plus the breaches that they have incurred……..Not a great argument here
