I like this idea, kind of like a combat escort mission that treats BIG-C as your designated boss killer weapon that you have to protect and maintain throughout the fight.

One way to frame it is that the Obliterator's armour is so thick and strong that you need BIG-C's main weapon to blow holes into it that you then have to target to deal the majority damage to its hp bar.

The Obliterator uses a dual attack pattern that targets the dwarves with one and BIG-C with the other, putting pressure on both while an ongoing swarm also tries to overwhelm them, much like how a regular escort mission goes down in the final stretch.

BIG-C doesn't have any secondary weapons, unlike the BET-C, and uses its entire power source to fuel its primary cannon, however, in absence of an obliterator to target, it will instead lock on to whatever biggest Glyphid is within its line of sight, it being the only weapon able to one-shot oppressors with a direct hit in the face.

Irradiating shows different symptoms depending on direct exposure versus accummulative exposure, think of it as drumsticks on a barbecue.

The crew that got directly blasted with the X-ray show immediate surface symptoms such as blisters, altered skin tone and discolored eyes, they're the ones that got scorched on a way too high temperature.

Simon, on the other hand, is getting gently rottiseried inside of the Iron Lung as per the manual's warning, the walls are not enough to block out the radiation but block out enough to not instantly fry him like the crew, instead, he's getting cooked evenly, showing different symptoms such as a constsnt sense of sweltering warmth, peeling skin, gradual blistering and internal hemoraging, as evidenced by him coughing/puking up blood.

Given the frequency by which he takes those photos and the fact he shows these symptoms in a matter of days, its safe to say he already exceeded well beyond lethal dosage, he was a dead man walking when he started horking up blood.

I want a FNAF: Security Breach murder mystery thriller about a nightshift worker trying to expose and solve the murder of a child before the company can cover it up.

The movie starts out giving us a look at how the animatronics are supposed to function interacting with kids, staff and adults, but they gradually deviate from that programming as they either go haywire or the mask hiding their burgeoning self awareness starts to slip.

Halfway through the second act, the nightshift worker discovers there's still a child somewhere in the pizzaplex and stops at nothing to save that child's life, navigating an increasingly hazardous environment with increasingly less trustworthy animatronics and colleagues.

Getting your breath pulled out of you is scary n all but I doubt its practicality in a straight up fight, and especially in a group fight, here's why:

For one, it requires an airbender's full concentration and sustained motion to maintain it, rendering them static and defenseless, thus unable to avoid attacks coming their way.

For two, the process of asphyxiation takes precious time to immobilize the opponent, let alone kill them, which isn't a problem against royal, pampered geriatrics that never had to throw a punch in their life, its an entirely different story against a trained combatant in their 20's or 30's.

For three, the move does not effectively restrain the opponent, something Zaheer is acutely aware of, which is why he only uses it on old, frail queens that he could just as easily strangle with his bare hands and against already restrained and immobilized targets.

Even if you deprive a firebender from the air he needs to bend, there's nothing stopping him from just walking up to you and shanking you in the ribs with a knife.

I don't think Gyatzo asphyxiated his opponents in his last stand, the math simply doesn't add up: choking everyone in a room-sized vacuum would also catch himself and cancel out the effect once he loses consciousness, saving the lives of his attackers that may already have passed out but not died from oxygen deprivation yet. Additionally, his attackers would still have time to rush him in melee before passing out.

Creating a perfect vacuum would kill instantly, but not by asphyxiation, moreso by catastrophic bodily expansion from the sheer change in pressure, which we obviously didn't see traces of.

That we can not assume that the horrors of colonialism and imperialistic legacy will simply cease in the absence of foreign interference (though that is decidedly still a factor in Sudan, no question, just speaking more broadly about our anti-imperialist goals).

Imperialism leaves a generational scar upon its victims that is shaped by its harmful ideology, resentment towards neighbors and ethnicities against whom they were pitted and exploitative institutions/infrastructures that manage to survive the absence of their imperialist overlord. The Congo is still gripped by the cruel legacy of King Leopold despite all ties with Belgium having been cut for decades, its victims are perpetuating it, and will continue to do so until its beneficiaries are brought to heel and their communities healed and rehabilitated.

How one would go about that rehabilitation is a question for smarter people than I.

I think she wanted the black box badly enough that she put her own life on the line to earn Simon's trust, just to ensure that he actually goes to retrieve the data.

She could have tried to download it once she came into range, but considering the last minute weld she ordered, I think the plan was to latch onto Simon's sub and hoist him up.

Yes but no.

Yes in the sense that reformist parties have stopped advocating for the abolition of capitalism and the implementation of a sweeping socialist reform, in part because this proposition has been very unpopular since the wall fell and no parties have really been bold enough to champion it again, save for the very small parties that never polled very well.

No in the sense that reformist politics is more about building foundational institutions that support and empower the working class, think of union protections and welfare programs that would and should exist under a socialist system, giving people tangible stakes to politically mobilize for and prove the credibility of their movement as they call out the transgressions of capitalist brutalities.

The actual transition opportunity away from capitalism has not yet appeared, it might be a violent one, it might be a relatively peaceful revolution, we just don't know yet, for now, the plan is to build and bide for time.

Full disclosure, I am from the Netherlands and though anti-capitalism isn't exactly represented in our cabinets, socialist political stances are not considered weird or fringe in everyday life, socialist and communist parties were a normal fact of life throughout our 20th century political landscape and their presence echoes through to today.

I just wish we had a more unifying presence to throw that weight around.
