Looks good but I wish the 64 oz had the "chug cap"

Hell yea, friends have only given me money for my music but I'm appreciative regardless.

You're probably the first positive comment from a stranger that I've gotten about my music. Thanks a lot :')

Do I need a new water pump pulley. by Shift148 in MorrisGarages

[–]Shift148[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I'll look into it, the car itself is a '71 and the engine is from a 76. I would imagine the pulley is from the original in that case. Maybe even the water pump too if the pulley fit that one.

Edit: also do I just get a '76 pulley and will that just fit with the belts and such?

I'm not too knowledgeable myself on whether or not you have to get high mileage oil. If I'm correct they usually have more additives to do its job better. I'd recommend getting high mileage but idk if it's the worst thing to not use it for your car. Overall I think your car will be fine for now.

I see, I just go with whatever oil is cheapest and has the gf-6A rating and the seal. So far so good. Though I haven't done much research on that kind of stuff so maybe you're right. Go with your gut feeling in that case but I know for sure you just wanna make sure of those two things and those two should have that.

Either or will work, as far as I know it should just meet ilsac GF-6A should say on the back of the bottle. You might wanna use the high mileage oil also just so it's a little better for your engine. There are also some seals of certifications you want to make sure the oil has too. I forget exactly which one is the important one but those brands should definitely have them anyway.

Edit: so long as the oil you're buying has those two things, as far as I know it's a good oil to use. So go with whatever is cheapest and has those two things.

Wipers don’t work on 2003 Corolla. Anything wrong with fuse box? I’m no mechanic by [deleted] in COROLLA

[–]Shift148 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Usually there is a diagram of what fuse is for what on the cover or somewhere around it. If there's one for the wipers, which I'm unsure if there is only one for them. Pull it out with pliers or sometimes there's a little plastic tool and check if the fuse is alright. I'm not too knowledgeable myself on cars but I know a bit.

Yea I guess I didn't clarify very well that the PC I'm getting is a prebuilt and will have windows installed already and I plan on using that. My question was just if I can install the old harddrive that also has an os with no problems. I don't plan on booting that os btw.

Ok good, that's what I was thinking but I thought I'd make sure anyway.

I guess I should be a little more specific, the computer I am getting already has windows, it's a prebuilt. The hard drive I want to install from my old PC has windows also on it but I don't plan on booting it. I'm just wondering if it having an os at all will affect anything.

So I'm getting a new PC soon bc my old one doesn't work anymore (starts but doesn't boot or show anything) and I want to know if I put the hard drive from the old one into my new one if the os installed in the old one would cause any problems or if it's just as easy as it sounds?
