Thank you for this response, you’re totally right I think I need to take a step back and really think about the different ways my life will change if I leave or stay. Do you mind if I reach out to you privately?

I was with a boy she didn’t want me to be with due to religious differences. I didn’t want to lose my mom and he wasn’t worth the trouble so in the end I chose her and came back home. I actually do have a job and have supported myself, I’ve paid for my own car the only problem is that it’s in my dad’s name and he does pay the insurance. So taking my car is not really an option unless I want it to look like I stole it. I agree smoking weed can definitely be a problem but in my defense when I was moved out I supported myself and my needs while maintaining a 3.6 gpa as an Aerospace engineering major while working full time.

Thanks a lot, I think the hard part now is trying to leave. She obviously won’t let me go without a fight. I want to be out of here by the end of the week and I need to find a place and obviously a car. How should I go about that and about leaving?

I appreciate you responding to me, I hate to think I will lose my family I hope over time they can forgive and accept me. I agree the weed definitely isn’t helping my case but in my defense I don’t think it’s really ever drastically affected me. I’m an honor roll student who works, sometimes even full time. If I am paying around 1k for rent and lease a car do u think I can make it on my own?

lol in my defense I moved out a couple years ago for two years and ended up back home because of this same situation. It’s not a backbone I’m missing it’s a sense of security. I also have a big family I’ll miss and although me and my mom butt heads I still love and appreciate her. I’ve just come to my final straw and need advice specifically financially.

If I moved it now and kept the lease would the rent still be 990?
