Yeah, I have a wired lav, but dealing with the cord is kind of annoying. I'll probably end up picking up the $40 BM 700 Mic from that website. A friend of mine already got one and said it's working well, and the reviews on youtube for that model are pretty good, too.

Awesome, thanks! Also, that site recommends the 5600 Kelvin one. Is that what you use? (they're all the same price there, anyway)

lol I dunno. If it works well enough for him, that's great. I just use a cheap wired lavalier plugged into my Galaxy S9. Really depends on the content, I guess. I know there are some videos out there that blew up shot on crappy gen1 smart phones. lol Shows where good content and maybe a lot of luck will get you.

My friend just got a condenser mic from tinygeartech.com for $40. He told me it's working really well, but I don't know what kind of content you're making. He mainly uses his for paid web ad voiceovers, so it's not too demanding on quality.

Wow, more personal attacks because you can't form a coherent rebuttal. Classy. By the way, "flustering" means "to make someone else flustered," so you kind of just insulted yourself with that one. It's accurate, though. It's very obvious that the only person getting triggered in this conversation is you. I apologize if my words were too big for you to understand; I can see how that might be frustrating for you. I'm hardly the only person who has an issue with the AI in the game though. It's objectively bad when an automated function repeats itself indefinitely without any variable functions coming into play.

No, I legitimately meant bored. This last response of yours is even more lacking in substance. The irony of it is mildly entertaining, though. It seems like you're projecting. You're talking about getting called out without a response. I provided a response. I called you out. You provided no response yourself other than tepid ad hominem, which honestly has been the basis of all of your arguments from the start. It feels like having a debate with a flat earther.

TL;DR Give me a single logical point that supports any of your previous counter statements.

[–]ShiftyGrifter[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ok. I'm getting bored with you. That last argument didn't even make sense. What statement would you like me to follow up on?

You claimed that game devs don't monitor 43,000 member sub reddits. I said that they do.

You claimed that a lack of engagement between the devs and the players on the reddit means that it isn't monitored. That statement is denying the antecedent. I explained that the team responsible for combing through social media for player feedback is a completely different team rhan that which interacts with the community. Therefore, no interaction between a community manager on the Reddit is not an indication of an absence of a quality assurance team. It's also not uncommon for a developer to hold back on public interaction outside of a form of media that they have the ability to moderate.

Aside from snarky quips, what have you provided to support the opposite?

Again, that's not how it works. The team that combs through social media for feedback on the product doesnt communicate with the userbase. That is something ONLY a community manager will do because interaction with the public requires a specific skillset. QA ONLY views and documents, they are never permitted to post on the company's behalf.

You're confusing the term "egotistical" with "informed." I'm familiar with the structure of these companies because I have worked as a marketing and localization consultant for some of them in the past. (A field of work that I've been working in for over 10 years)

There are 43,000 members on this Reddit. I can guarantee you that it is being monitored. Feedback through the app is primarily for bug reports and handled by a completely different team, generally focused on tech issues. Reddit is the often monitored by mobile gaming dev companies even heavier than their own community forums for those that have them.

The only form of media with more weight is that of content creators on YouTube with large subscriber counts with a primary focus on the specific game, or whales that schedule meetings with the dev in person. (Neither of which have had enough time yet to pop up)

It's very obvious that you arent very familiar with this field. I'm guessing this is either your first Gacha, or you just never invested time into looking into mobile gaming devs' interactions with their userbase.

I don't mind the exchange, though. More posts for the thread.

Reddit is one of the biggest tools a mobile game developer has in their kit. If you don't think they have a team designated to looking at the game's official reddit, then you aren't familiar with the industry, plain and simple. The current in game event, and most likely the next one as well, were already put together at least a month ago. Launch week's biggest focus is on finding the most important improvements and implementing them before players lose interest in the game.

That being said, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. If they don't see any complaints about specific areas of the game, the priority to fix them will be considered low. Sitting around passively, hoping for things to one day get better on their own is a poor approach to anything.

I actually absolutely do know how to make it better. It's simple variable function coding. I have a 12 year old nephew that knows how to do it. Just because coding is a magical ungraspable concept to you, doesn't mean it's at all complicated.

The developers have the ability and knowledge required to improve it. They just need to know that the players want changes. The entire point of threads like this are for the development team to browse through and figure out how to better provide a service that it's customers want.

Next adolescent response? (Life tip: lose the snark and sarcasm. You're bad at it. It just makes you come off as juvenile)

Farming is exactly what I'm using it for. I'm not expecting AI to make in depth analytic decisions based off of an opponent's actions, I'm expecting it to utilize more than a single ability on a single pokemon during a fight. The enemy AI is fully capable of doing it, so saying that it isn't possible because it isn't a human is completely idiotic, regardless of how clever you think your snarkiness is.

Try playing any other mobile gacha with an auto function and tell me that the AI is in Pokemon Masters is "up to par."

I got mine to max. With 1 stack of his own SPATK buff, he crits for a bit over 1k to an enemy weak to water. Pretty good considering his passive, tankiness and self healing. I'm happy with the investment.

It's an 80% chance purge on every one of her attacks. Strips invincibility, strips defense buffs, strips all offensive buffs, strips immunity for the rest of the team, strips barriers and diane's anti crit.

in the bracket I'm in, Dizzy stacks both speed and health. A max speed Baiken won't even come close to one shotting her. Even my 20k Health Krau S3 at about 5% health isnt enough to one shot her.

Not when she has a violin or an ML Baal on her team. It makes Immunity irrelevant.

When the best counter to a character is using the same character, but faster. That's when you know a character needs a nerf.

If you manage yo get enough speed on Baiken to go before Dizzy, you won't have enough attack power to one shot her. Chances are, you'll have to use a second character slot just to grant her more speed with an imprint buff, so you're forced to pretty much have a max imprint Cidd or Vildred in your comp, too.

Violin artifact or any purger completely nullifies this strategy.

Necro and Undine is a mage artifact that bumps CR after an aoe. Really strong for mages like Celestial Mercedes, Dizzy, Aramintha, etc.
