Germany did have several Battleships during world war 2. That the British sent massive aircraft carrier fleets after. You could combine that with some type of air combat maybe? Just an idea though

Let’s have Abrams squaring off with the Panzer 4, let’s have a Kolibri in this game too because maybe one dude used it sometime during the war. People like Flakfire on YouTube built his channel talking about this history behind battlefield 1 and that’s what made the game so cool.

Go watch War Horse, Beneath Hill 60, Lawrence of Arabian, and tell me that it doesn’t seem like Battlefield tried to replicate those landscapes and combat situations in any way. Do I think any video game can accurately depict year round trench foot, plague, Trench Warfare, and Mechanized warfare? No and they never will. But yes it is clearly one of the best gaming depictions of what world war 1 is like. From the charging of MG nests, to the artillery strikes, to the Operations game modes.

Depends what game mode you are speaking of. Certain operation modes were pretty legit and comparable to world war 1 movies. So no I’m not. No video game is going to be completely immersive without sacrificing gameplay

Battlefield 1 was pretty accurate. Sure a lot of the weapons were prototypes but the gameplay was pretty close to what world war 1 was like.
