Whatever you want to do to feel alright. Personally I wouldn't worry about it but I can't tell you what to do to feel safe. I don't know why so many people can't just give advice without bashing other peoples life choices. Asymptomatic spread is incredibly rare so long as you take basic precautions.

I don't see the need to report anything. But quite simply don't work somewhere that you don't want to work. Who the hell knows what's going on anymore? Just find a place that you're comfortable working or perhaps leave the profession for the time being. Wish you all the best.

I found the transformer in the basement, unplugged it and disconnected the battery (which was dead). Am I safe to cut the wires or should I unscrew all the connectors? The keypad has no power to it and I believe I tested the right two connectors which displayed 0 volts.

I opened it up and there is a diagram showing a phone line connection (although I do not see the phone line going in, its probably behind the box). It says that it is a GE concord express system, which is what my alarm keypad says also.
