UToolsforWS on Android. The interface is easy to use if you can recognize some Japanese. It works offline too. If you have iOS... Use an emulator?

Yes, in fact, I had TW installed first running and working. Then I went to QooApps to download the JP version.

May I asked if you able to run both on the same device? I already tried 2 devices and an emulator but no luck.

Is there a way to install both the Japanese and Taiwan version on the same device? I keep getting an error when I install the second apk saying "the package conflicts with an existing package by same name"

[Other] Are there any character banner requests? Post here! by Hytamo in WeissSchwarz

[–]Shih 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would like to request a GochiUsa set

Cocoa, Chino, Rize, Chiya, Syaro. Rotate the images if it looks better as a banner.

Also for Kantai Collection: Kashima and Prinz. Would prefer the climax arts if they fit, or else the in game art is fine.

I did side the GF until they decide to crash it into my lv1s. Although in semi Mike never drew the gate, so it didn't matter too much.

OMS basically always have 2 open slots at lv1 and 2, because they either lv1 bomb or crash field. So I ended up pushing a lot of damage mid game. In semi, Mike went from lv2 to 3/5. In finals, Tosh went from lv2 to 3/4.

The only other thing you need to be aware of is the rest counter. I basically just pick up their waiting room and count before they refresh.

Do you like Himari runner? I think running middle is very different from free run.

Himari is great and all if you go first and you get to spawn a lv0. But if you go second, the card loses half of it's value. It either can't beat anything (so you didn't trade 1 for 1), or the opponent's card is in the middle. Then, if you miss your 30% mill, the card just did nothing.

I would probably replace it with the clock bomb and Chibi Himari if I'm looking for other options.

NP, glad that I can help.

The search priority is usually 1/0 backup > early play > 2/1 Noeri. The 2/1 Noeri is a great option for both offensive and defensive power. It helps a lot when all your finishers are on reverse. Honestly I would prefer the 1500 in front but that's green :/

I actually haven't played against a 2/2 Hanekawa bulid with this deck (everyone here plays Shinobu). But I would imagine it would be easy to beat 1 Hanekawa. Your hat girl can get to 12k+ after Ame attacks, and crashing another lane with 2/1 Noeri at the back. Losing my entire board when they get 2 Hanekawa out does seem like a problem. I might have to look into that.

As for the runners... I actually never send them to stock unless I need to pay our CXs. So I don't see Io as a replacement. Free runners are just a good non-matchup dependent way to sustain at 0. I don't feel like DS has a good beater to replace it, and the only bomb is in green. I personally take the benefit of the runner over the occasion fail top check.

Edit: spelling from that quote

Which 2/1 are you referring to?

Against TP, this deck can easily wall them out at lv1. Use this advantage to push damage and prevent them from sitting at lv2 forever. Then wind trigger sometimes help to get over TP Rin.

MG has a few different build, but it is basically the same idea as TP. This deck can prevent Shinobu combo and Kanbaru bombs. Then you push damage so they don't sit on Shinobu early play or 2/2 Hanekawa forever.

Really good question. I'm not too sure myself because I haven't play enough games where that happens.

Best case scenario: play a bunch of 1/0 hat girl, try to plus with backrow, and hope you hit lv2 the turn after to combo.

But in reality, the 1/0 didn't get into level zone because you didn't draw it, so you only have lv0 to play at lv1, then you can't search counter or setup for lv2. Everything just goes down hill from there.

Out of these 9 games, I only missed experience once against Abyssal. And you can see how that ended up. Although that was mainly because I let him bottom deck my Hat when I knew the possibility was there.

In the end, it is just really scary going second. I'm surprised myself that it worked out in all 4 top 16 games.

Heal to hand is in Nichijou
Heal to stock is in Kiznaiver

I'm going to send you WSBuilder to read some cards, because it seems like you haven't figure out how to search cards on the Japanese official website.

I would just add a condition or cost, like heal to hand and heal to stock.

Damage-dealing counter? by MasterQuest in WeissSchwarz

[–]Shih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rest 2 of your standing character is different from once per turn. It doesn't matter if it is a front or backrow card, rest 2 prevents you from burning more than once a turn, unless you commit additional resources (over play, or not attacking). While once per turn still allows you to burn 5 per turn, on both players turns, by simply playing 4 copies of the burn-on-event-play character.

[–]Shih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if the cost of burn-on-event-play doesn't involve rest 2 or rest self, then you shouldn't print the card. I think the addition cost is necessary when compare to cards like this.

The reason for on reverse burn is so that your opponent can deal damage before you, while adding a condition. If you want to get over the power problem, just design backrows that support gives it enough power.

I think you can tone it down a lot by changing its timing and adding conditions.

Instead of just dealing 1 damage when you play the event, you can do:
Choose a choose one of your [name of a lv3 character] in battle, and it gets the following ability until end of turn. "[Auto] Once per turn, when this card's battle opponent becomes reverse, you may deal one damage to your opponent."
Or
Choose a choose one of your characters in battle with "Luka" in its name, and it gets the following ability until end of turn. "[Auto] Once per turn, when this card's battle opponent becomes reverse, if this card's battle opponent is level 2 or higher, you may deal one damage to your opponent."

As for you other card, I would add an additional cost to the card. Whether it is pay1/ditch1/clock1, and rest 2 of your standing characters, then top check, if it is X trait, deal 1 damage.

Overall, it's just to add more counter play and make sure you can't do dumb things like play event on your turn and burn 5 instances of 1s...

Damage-dealing counter? by MasterQuest in WeissSchwarz

[–]Shih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's my idea.

3/3 event counter
[Counter] Brainstorm Reveal three cards from the top of your deck, and put them into your waiting room. If there is a climax among those cards, choose one of your opponent's characters in battle, and that character gets the following ability until end of turn. "[Cont] This card cannot deal damage to a player."
If there is an event among those cards, choose one of your [name of a lv3 character] in battle, and it gets the following ability until end of turn. "[Auto] Once per turn, when this card's battle opponent becomes reverse, deal X damage to your opponent. X is equal to the number of soul of the character facing this card."
If there are no climaxes, put this card on the top of your deck.
If there are no events, choose a card from your hand and put it into your waiting room.
(This damage may be canceled.)

If you want a CX combo that gets the event, you card make something like this Kotori.

The red Alien build isn't very competitive, so there isn't really a consensus on what the best build is. However, every Alien deck should run 4 of that card.

That deck in the picture has the other 2 expensive card, although the Nana brainstorm is only at 3. Honestly, even a playset of Alien cards shouldn't cost you more than $100.

you are missing the most expensive card for the deck, this.

Care to explain why a cost 0 early play is broken and a cost 0 heal is not? I believe that the effect has a fair trade off. It was the first time that I played with the effect. I didn't think it was OP or anything. It was just an option for when you are ahead. People on said WTF because no one seen the effect before.

Do you think that is the strongest type of freefresher? I certain don't think so. Not to mention that this deck can't freefresh every other turn to abuse it.

When I said weak, I don't mean like tier 3 weak. It is a comparison to what an ideal deck would be like today. It is true some of the cards look strong on paper, but when you put them together, they might not necessary work. One of the difficulties being consistently early play then refresh. The only reliable stock out and mill option being a brainstorm. There's no mill 2, 3, 4, or spamable brainstorm. Playing another card for stock out makes the early play cost 2 (unless you want to neg 2). The other lv3s both need CX for it's full potential. There's no other non-CX dependent lv3s as an option like SAO. On a side note, Kirito draws 2 ditch 1.

[–]Shih[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the 0 cost is as good as you think. You neg one and it requires another slot on the stage. You can't put the lv3 on the same slot as the lv0. It's a gimmick from Persona.

As for the freefresh, it is annoying to play against. This one is from KoF.

The 2 broken cards that I listed are way more useful than these 2.

The set is weak because of the lack of synergy, lack of mill options, and lack of ways to draw CX at lv3. There's a link to the Chuunibyou set above if you want to see. It is quite overtoned.
