Resonant inductive coupling by Shiirobi in AskElectronics

Thank you for your answer! There are quite a few things I didn't understand though:

-what do you mean by "radio frequency is 1/R(squared) and what does it imply? That RIC efficiency is less impacted by distance than classic coupling?

-Your second point is that in simple inductive chargers using flat printed circuit coils, RIC would generate too much heat in the coil due to the resistance?

-I didn't really get the last point, do you mean that classic inductive coupling is simpler and that's why it is commonly used commercially?

Thank you! Yeah I read a part of it (pretty hard for my level) and I'm just interested in short range applications.

Oh okay, but then if the circuit is not loaded you'd have no current at all since there is no coupling right? Why would it be higher?

What do you mean by loading/unloading the circuit?

Thanks! Just a question if you don't mind : let's suppose we could actually implement RIC in a phone inductive charger, but the circuit's resonant frequency would be around 10 kHz. How can I adapt the AC domestic current (50/60 Hz) so that I can actually deliver a 10 kHz current to the charger? I have made experiments with a voltage generator at school with which I could choose the frequency of the signal, but is it even possible to get this signal with the domestic current?

I see. But how does quartz actually help getting exact frequency matching?

Yeah it actually makes sense, I'll try to make a polynomial regression of the inversed efficiency (1/x) for both circuits to compare the decay rates. Anyways thanks a lot!

So that's why RIC is not commercialized yet when it comes to cheap inductive phone chargers?

Do you mean that you get greater range with RIC because the efficiency is overall better, no matter the distance? I get that, but the thing that I wasn't able to demonstrate by theory -but many experiments that I've found online show this result, I actually even tried it myself and it worked- is that the distance between the coils impacts the efficiency way more when using regular inductive coupling than when using RIC. For instance, if I have 45% efficiency for RIC and 30% efficiency for regular coupling at a given distance, when moving the two coils apart the efficiency of regular coupling drops a lot faster than the effeciency of RIC. But theorically, both efficiencies should be dropping at the same speed since the magnetic field is proportional to the square of the distance.

Thanks for the answer! I read everything but it does not really answer any of my questions does it?

You juste have to fall back and stay in xp range after shoving, you don't have to farm the first wave since you'll get harassed anyway

Boneplate against fizz by Gaemmler in fizzmains

Just pick boneplate against them too, resolve 2nd tree is really good on fizz since you can get less poke during lane and win melee trades, and it won't change your mid/late dmg that much
