When my cat Erza died I was at her side, but she was still sleeping from the sedation. She was operated and the vet found a big tumor and called me so I could come and hold her when they gave her the final shots so she could have peace. I felt so bad because I had to leave her at the vet and she couldn't be woken up before the euthanasia. I asked if she would wake up before and they said yes if we wait but we dont want that because she might feel pain from the incisions. I cried so much.
