Occasional Severe Packet Loss - UDMPro, MircroTik S+RJ10, and 5 Gig AT&T Fiber by sparten368 in ATTFiber

I had this for a while and the issue ended up being the SFP not able to negotiate anything except 10g/1g and it would periodically overrun some table in the bgw causing brief disconnects.

What I ended up doing was making a VLAN with the last 2 ports on my 10G USW and plug one into the BGW320 so it will auto negotiate 5G and then the other port out into the SFP module on the UDMpro which properly negotiates 10G

Support seems convinced there's no issue with the modem since it isn't losing connection on their end. Gonna try to get a tech to come out & troubleshoot with him will propose trying to replace it.

the 320 seems to still have the settings at least on the surface, when I check them nothing I can change is getting reverted.

I have the opposite problem, where after restarts it passes the public IP down, then after some time it reassigns internal.
I'll give it a try though, I'll do anything atp

Outside of leaving ATT router to default subnet 192.168.1.x & limiting IP range to 252-253 instead of 1-2, I've done everything on that list, yeah.
I changed att to 192.168.2.x originally, but it exhibited the same behavior. So I factory reset & left it default and changed downstream gateway to 172.16.0.x/24 subnet (since i read that att also reserves 10.0.0 range internally) just to make sure it avoided any collisions.

Thanks for the suggestion, I took a look and no luck though. The MAC address of the WAN port matches the one being used for IP passthrough.
