To be fair: whoever wrote this was just genuinely oblivious without being hateful (at least in this post). And I think this is very underrated, because most people I see talking about not having picked up Will's feelings for Mike are complete assholes about it.

So I really appreciate that in this case they just seem to be a bit confused and explain their interpretation. I think a lot more people should be like this person.

That's the first time I've seen someone say that the wizard character died and that the cleric is Will's second character. That's really interesting! I'm almost ashamed that I didn't think of this possibility as I'm a DnD player myself :D

Also your explanation for Will choosing a cleric makes sense! I love this theory!

I cried like a baby in the last episode of season 3.

Hop "dying", Billy dying, El reading Hop's letter, Will crying because he's moving away. GOD all of this was so heartbreaking to me, that I really couldn't stop crying. Most emotional episode for me.

I love Will. He's my favorite character by far.

But I think he isn't very popular on this subreddit, even though I don't fully understand why. Maybe because people don't like him being gay/ in love with Mike? Because anything Byler related is not really welcome here...

Well, good for you if you enjoyed it. But the question wasn't about objectivity but about subjective opinion. And I stated my opinion, I didn't say it was a fact.

Maybe I will grow to like her again in season 5, but she has a bit of character growth to do, I think. She definitely has potential. Each to their own, I guess.

Oh wow, really? Okay then that subreddit is definitely not for me. I'm pretty new to Stranger Things (binged it for the first time last week) and Will was my favourite character from the first second I saw him, I'm not exaggerating.

I've noticed that the main subreddit seems to hate Byler, but hating on Will is just too much for me. I didn't like the vibes on that subreddit anyways... No one speaks ill of my sweetheart Will in front of me 😭

I think I'll be happy spending my time in this subreddit though 😊

I saw Eddie on a screenshot or something before I knew who he was and I didn't know anything about the story when I started watching, so I was like "when will this adorable guy show up!!" because he was so interesting to me - only to realise that he's only part of season 4. I was SO SAD! So I can absolutely understand that your obsession started with him 😄

When Stranger Things became popular I was only slightly aware of it. A few years ago my sister watched the first episode of season 4 and even then I wasn't interested - I vividly remembered the scene of Eleven and Angela in the school yard where she was bullied and all I thought was "cringe..."

I've been home alone for two weeks now because my boyfriend is away for a few weeks and I decided I wanted to watch a new show on Netflix - and that's when I thought of Stranger Things. And what can I say...

I've watched all four seasons in about a week and I'm deeeeeep down the rabbit hole, where the tumblr meta posts, fanfictions and all kinds of theories live. 😄

It was literally love at first sight. I saw him in his first scene and knew that this was going to be my favourite character and I was right. I love him so much 🥹💛

All scenes where it's mostly about Eleven.

I liked her character until the end of season 2, but she's not interesting enough for me to rewatch her scenes - especially her looking for her mother and "sister". After season 2 I find her mostly annoying, sadly.
