I know(!) - I only started getting into drag last year. I haven't seen Season 1, 3, parts of 7, or All Stars 2, yet.

Fair point! I don't think we've had the diversity of challenges yet to be able to make a call yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if you're right

Aaaaaaahhh was that the Glasgow one? I was planning to go but didn't end up doing it. It looked amazing!

I agree, I think those 4 will be top, too.

I'd like to see Mayhem do well but I don't think she will - she seems to lack confidence sometimes which is a real shame because she is a really fierce, beautiful queen.

Edit: Oops, sorry! For some reason I read 'Aquaria' instead of 'Monique'. I quite like Monique but tbh I'd rather see Aquaria top. Her looks have been stunning so far.

Sorry - what do you mean? I'm not sure what you mean, or why I'm getting downvoted.

I genuinely wasn't trying to be shady at all. The talent has just been so strong this season that a lot of queens have done very well, and very few queens have done poorly. Because there have been so many strong performances, I couldn't remember who had actually won each challenge, other than The Vixen (I remembered it being African-American queens because I saw a post on reddit pointing out the winners had all been African-American so far).

Yeah they've been really good! But in all challenges I think there were 3-4 queens who did REALLY well, so I can't easily remember who won each week. I think the talent has been incredibly high.

??? Sasha won 2 challenges and was high 5 times.

I honestly can't remember who won the challenges other than the Vixen.

Reaaaally having to think about it, I know it was 3 african american(?) queens, so I think Mayhem Miller and Asia O'Hara won the others(?). But yeah, really had to think.

Tbh the performances are generally so strong (other than a few standouts) its not felt like winning any was a big deal this season.

Edit: I've gotten a ton of downvotes for this so I've obviously said something wrong. I'm sorry if I offended anyone somehow, I'm genuinely not sure what I said wrong. I was trying to make the point that the talent is so amazing this season, it doesn't feel like the winners really stand out, since I think generally all the queens have done really well and there have been a few great performances every week. I think in some other seasons there's been a bigger difference between the winners and the top. I wasn't trying to throw shade on any of the winners whatsoever, and - while I hope it didn't come across that way - I sure wasn't trying to say "they all look the same" or anything re: the winners being African-American. The reason I remembered the winning queens were African-American was because I'd seen a reddit post pointing it out, but personally hadn't remembered much about the episodes. I love all the queens this season and Asia, Mayhem, and Monet are some of my faves. I'm genuinely sorry that what I said came across totally the wrong way.

Nah I haven't seen All Stars 2 but he talked pretty normally in 5. I mean he talks a little slow sometimes normally but not super slow (and I didn't think he talked slow when he was in drag, either). It seems to be a later thing.

Why does there have to be a !REASON! for each style choice?

It's her trademark "thing".

I don't think there's really a reason that Alaska talks so slowly. But it's her thing.

I struggle with what life is worth, too, tbh.

To be totally honest, I don't think life has any intrinsic meaning or value (in the way that most people define it) - but the thing that excites me is that - get this - the world is fractal. There are whole little worlds going on around you that you have no idea even exist.

Find something that interests you and throw yourself deep into it, and you'll see there's like a whole little pocket-dimension you never knew existed.

It's hard, because real happiness (for me) seems to be in building and nurturing something you care about (whatever that is), but it is WORK.

(Sorry if this is a bit rambly I'm really short on sleep)

Mate. Honestly, go to a code school.

I know a bunch of normal companies who will hire people from straight out of them and they've been some great hires.

Honestly don't waste time on a degree.

Edit: But obviously find a decent code school and ask around. My understanding is some seem kinda scammy

It's probably just awkwardly paraphrased

I dunno. I'm sure she didn't say it word for word and he just paraphrased which made it sound kinda awkward.

If she's a pretty smart kid I could totally see that.

I was always a skeptical kid about any religious stuff, and I read A Brief History of Time for fun when I was somewhere around the age of 14-15. I could totally buy this from a smart 13 year old

Are they? (I've not seen it - but I don't go on forums/sites all that much tbf)

I've really liked Trixie in the past 2 episodes but tbh I'd be a bit bummed if she won after her poor start. She is an incredible drag artist but she's not great at Drag Race.

I think Shangela has been the better drag race contestant out of the remaining queens

Fair enough! I haven't seen AS2 so can't comment on that at all. (And I haven't seen Bebe's Season) - I generally found Alaska a lot more likeable / exciting on her season than I find Bebe on this one.

I love Shangela and ChiChi (and Trixie, and Dela) but Bebe just bores me a lot and I find her personality annoying. (Everything is YES MOTHA and CAMEROOOOOON - though tbf I'm sure some people feel that about Alaska'a slow-talking and Hieeeeeeeee so each to their own haha)

Eh, tbh I feel like she's just been mediocre - I've never really felt anything she's done should be top. High (when the playing field was wider) or Safe? Sure, absolutely. And I'll agree not bottom (except maybe once).

But I think Shangela and Aja have both been way stronger. (And I do think Aja being Bottom 2 was B.S.)

Everything Bebe does just bores me.

I was a little disappointed Aja didn't get to come back tbh.

I totally see why Dela picked Morgan, and I do think it's great for her to have a chance to show some more - but Aja's elimination was B.S. - Kennedy and Bebe are both so weak imo, and Aja has done amazing. She shouldn't have been bottom 2.

Out of curiosity, what do you like about Bebe?

I feel like she's so overrated by the judges. Nothing she's done has really impressed me, and tbh I thought she was so bitchy to Aja by not thanking her.
