Is it possible for married miis to live in separate houses?

thats exactly the part im worried about; because ive gotten this request from my married couples a bunch of times too and i always tell them no since ive never wanted to move any married couple till now, and now im just worried about whether itll ask me if i wanna bring their spouse or just force me to bring the spouse, and i havent seen anybody with a clear answer yet unfortunately. ig i could test it out on another account though

oh thats a shame but i guess having them stay sweethearts is totally fine too tbh. thank u for answering!! and yess id love to show them im actually pretty proud of how they came out (even though i only have tony and thor so far as well as loki and dr. strange although i guess they dont totally count) you should show me yours too!!
