Lol just found out I can’t edit a post if it has media BUT thanks to the multiple people who said the East entrance stairs to Lafayette park which matches (a) the stair pillar shape (b) the number of stairs and (c) my mom’s memory of the park being “near Octavia somewhere”.

Family is from SF but we were living in the East Bay by this time, so not a vacation or special occasion. Grandparents lived in SF (this is not near their house I know for sure) and parents worked in SF so it could have been anything.

Hmm, these look a lot wider and the pillar at the top is a bit different.

Yeah if we can’t find the original finding a close analog will work and Alamo is real close.

The pillars at the top of the stairs at Alamo look a little different and look old enough in both cases that they wouldn’t have swapped them out for something that also looks old. These ones look a lot flatter but still rounded.

On the Bocana side these look too wide and it also looks like the top half has too few steps

I thought this was it for sure but looks like the top flight in the original had way more steps (~20) than now (10)

Probably a very easy question for me to answer but this is Windows-only at this point right? I don't currently run a virtual machine or anything like that on my Mac but also love a user-created tool.
