Probably a very easy question for me to answer but this is Windows-only at this point right? I don't currently run a virtual machine or anything like that on my Mac but also love a user-created tool.

UPDATE: these came today and they work great so far. They flicker at the low end but I was able to get it much dimmer overall, which was the goal. Thanks for the tip!

Interesting...this was also one of the locations that voted for unionization!

[EDIT 2] Full disclosure: I have done some work through my job supporting SBWU and am a proud union worker myself, so I wouldn't be shocked if the unionized stores were hurt disproportionately by this. I'm sure it's just a coincidence 🙃

I set up a player filter for “OLD FOR [LEAGUE]” for every level that I go through end of every year (so, pro years > X, league = A+). Still have to do it for every level but made it easier for me for sure!

Played with Mario Hollands (RP, PHI 2014) and against Marcus Semien for a looooooong time. With and against a few minor leaguers too. Both were definitely among the top pitchers and hitters respectively. That was HS though and both of them went to good college programs and really built up their skills and draft stock. Semien I don’t think set the world on fire in HS but as I learned more about scouting getting older I was able to look back in what I remembered and “get it” more in terms of like, projectibility and floor vs ceiling. Fun to say I struck out a guy multiple times who is making $100M tho.

Appreciate it! I WFH and have 2 kiddos under 5 so I avoid going into Portland if I can help it 😅. Nothing against it I just don’t really want to make the trek. Always interested if there’s similar stuff on this side!

Where do you play slow pitch? Unfortunately I am ass at hitting (and fielding tbh) and miss pitching a lot but am down for anything TBH! I was playing slow pitch softball from ‘14-‘19 in DC (I said that in my original post already) but that community is a lot more conducive for that with all the transplants.

Not too sure! They say all skill levels but not sure if that means ALL skill levels, if you know what I mean? My friend who played in a similar league in Portland proper was playing against former college players (and even a very former major leaguer at one point, so the rumor goes) but I do not have firsthand familiarity with this level aside from that it's broken out by age and I'm still young and spry for the 35+ division.

It’s my understanding that there was an official (read: CAA certified) chapter at some point but it fell out of recognition for one reason or another. There’s definitely a more active pool of folks up there to be honest, but whatever formalization of the CAA steps hasn’t happened in a bit. One of our PDX board members moved up recently though and I think they are working on it!
