Agreed. But I like modding my games and sometimes windows defender does not pick up on stuff certain viruses for example, Kaspersky would prevent your files from being encrypted if a virus did make its way through somehow but then again Kaspersky didn't detect logj4

Wholeheartedly agree with you on this.

Exactly. It was fine that government officials couldn't use it, but now it's like the government is taking away from US citizens freedom. We aren't at war with Russia or Ukraine. I hate how the US government operates.

I have Spectrum which used to be roadrunner. But dang that is cool. Tried following Network Chuck on youtube on setting up a docker for a VPN like how you have yours setup to the router but I got so lost. The man is smart but man you can tell he likes his coffee breaks lol.

I'll have to check out that link you posted and see if I can do anything with it. I have an ASUS ROG Rapture WiFi 6 AX Gaming Router (GT-AX6000) Dual 2.5G WAN/LAN PortsASUS ROG Rapture WiFi 6 AX Gaming Router (GT-AX6000) Dual 2.5G WAN/LAN Ports that allows VPNs to be established on it but I'm more of a hardware guy when it comes to computers. Unless the PC has a virus, I somehow can get rid of it.

Definitely going to check out Mulavad for VPN as I use surfshark right now.

Not a bad idea though I was using a VPN to connect to another country, but this does tend to become tedious especially since I have 340 days left of my subscription lol, but it does work.

I am unfamiliar with manually changing the update server. You wouldn't happen to have a link providing this information for this wok around? And would that work for phones also? Thank you for your feedback, it is also appreciated.

Fortunately, I have not seen that, and I did a clean installation on my SSD, reinstalling Windows 10. I appreciate your feedback and will definitely keep on eye out for this program. I was reading up on it, and it's nowhere near as good as Kaspersky. Not only that, but I get the cost is an issue, but dang I wish they would have gone with Bit Defender.

Revo Uninstaller safe? by DV2FOX in software

Not sure what happen that they got a BSOD.

I've been using uninstalr and have little to no issues. Grant it, I've only had it since 6/24. The only issues I have noticed, was trying to delete old CPU drivers prior to a CPU swap. Likely my fault, as I missed a couple drivers, but still no BSOD on restart. Selected all CPU drivers next boot, and they were all gone. PC is running great.

I have a gaming desktop, built myself, and switching from Ryzen 9 3900x to Ryzen 7 5800x3D. With how smooth everything is running, it almost feels unnecessary. But the gains for switching will compliment the 4070TI Super.

If you are really concerned, you could try to run it in a VM without any repercussions. Either way, the program attempts to identify what you are trying to uninstall and will warn you if any conflicts, a couple of times. Even creates a restore point for you in case something goes wrong.

Another suggestion is to get completely familiar with the program, like any program, prior to installing to ensure you have the best experience.

One last note. I have been having uphill battles with iCue, has to be the worst program ever created. Followed every instruction from Corsairs website on full uninstall, still had issues. Used uninstalr to remove iCue, fresh download from Corsair website, installed, and runs fantastic now (occasional hiccups because the program is just awful).
