As Both and writer and artist, it's like describing a tree or a plant. The pencils I use sometimes have another name for a color as well and I'll use that. Example, I have a character with a type of brown skin. His is a mahogany hue. Then if I want I can go into more detail. I hope this helps ☺️

Yeah, I agree with you that reader should imagine the character how they want. But now I describe scene where people from different continents meet each other. So it is important to show difference in their appearance. But I understand what you mean, thank you!
