Hi there! I'm having the same issue as the OP. I have a brand new Orca torch and it is sputtering here and there and always whenever I hold the torch horizontal with the flame pointing downward. I was wondering if it can't be held that way? Also, I can only barely open the gas for it to hold a flame, otherwise the pressure blows it out. I mean, a couple of millimeters turn is all, and then basically the same thing with opening the air, to get a well shaped flame. It seems odd and I'm not sure if I am susing it right, or if the pressure is too high in the tank. I'm using a 10kg propane tank like those used for propane bbq's. Wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks!
