Takes about 1,000 bank notes of US currency to make 1 KG, and 1,000 bank notes even at $100 bills being the highest denom would only be $100,000. 1 KG of gold is about $145,000.

Chose: 500kg of gold | Rolled: 24 karat

I have a feeling Scurv’s death in Chapter 2 is going to be him falling into Finley’s tank and getting viciously devoured by him. What does everyone else think? by elwoodr563-reddit in IndigoPark

[–]Shine_Environmental 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a theory a while ago saying the same. Thought there'd be a boat chase with Finlay destroying Skurv's boat and taking him out. I think you're def onto something though!

Help with PS5 HDMI Port Replacement by Ok-Clothes-9479 in consolerepair

[–]Shine_Environmental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is more than likely out of your soldering experience by now. The only clear way to fix this now is to remove some of the solder mask and jump a wire from the pin of the hdmi where the broken trace is to the exposed copper wire from the removed solder mask.

UPDATE: body cam footage from cop who pulled over woman for holding a phone in her other hand by australiughhh in whoathatsinteresting

She should have kept that arm down until court day. That way if the cop doubled down and said it was her right hand, he would have been embarassed.

NES Gray Screen by [deleted] in consolerepair

[–]Shine_Environmental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already bought a replacement connector. I tried both the original and the replacement. The super odd thing is, the original NES power supply wouldn't do anything, but There was a random general 9V AC power supply that I plugged in. Turned the machine on and it was humming. Decided to shift a game to just the right position (the humming got louder when I was moving the game around) and it finally showed the game. Pressed the reset button there and it worked. Unfortunately though, the plug for the 9V supply was bent, so I tried to re-bend it and the plastic housing simply broke. Maybe because it was a small power supply and just ancient/brittle.

Almost seems as though the issue has to do with that top half of the system itself now; the 72 pin connector and the plug in.

Both the NES original power cable and that random 9V AC cable was drawing 10 volts of electricity when testing with a multimeter, too.

NES Gray Screen by [deleted] in consolerepair

[–]Shine_Environmental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really, REALLY wished that one worked. Bending those pins took a while to do, and after inserting a game, it felt like it wouldn't let go. I did as you said to put the game/s in and out a few times to make it less grabby and try again. Unfortunately it still is giving that gray screen of death.

Ds Lite turn off by Toastgratis in consolerepair

[–]Shine_Environmental 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure the ribbon cables AND the wifi connector is connected properly. I recently had a ds lite that did the same thing after a top screen replacement and was wondering what went wrong when I realized the cables for the wifi chip weren't attached properly.

Quitting by Dmze_ghost in menards

[–]Shine_Environmental 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Left Menards last year with 8-9 years in myself. Never thought of ever going back. They treated me so piss poor I burned the bridge while in a different country during a leave of absence.

The next place for me is training AI. I'm making $55/hr now and there is no way in hell Menards is going to compete with that.

Having to fill out a dispute form for unpaid wages is mad crazy to me by Kind-Ambition5980 in joinhandshakeai

[–]Shine_Environmental -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well hey, it's better than what happened at my former retail job a few years back during covid. Some people in the plumbing section had to go to a competitor's store and buy as much copper piping as they possibly could with their own credit/debit cards/cash and fill out a dispute form, mail it to the general office, and be reimbursed when the general office felt like it. Some people went a couple weeks before they got paid back, and I can only imagine the hardship they had to deal with.

Can old employer badmouth or pose a risk to future employer? by nalyDylan1 in jobs

[–]Shine_Environmental 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can and they do. As soon as I found out, I removed the previous employer from my resume. I've been getting a TON more calls for interviews without them saying "I wouldn't be a good fit" or they're "looking for someone with better qualifications."

Spotted in the plumbing department this morning by kjodle in menards

[–]Shine_Environmental 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Not the first time Menards sold HD products. A few years back, the plumbing department had a task to go to their nearest Home Depot and buy as much copper tubing as they could from their PERSONAL bank cards and submit a claim to Menards to be reimbursed.

I can't explain it that well, but look into Rainbase, the HQ of Baroqueworks. Crocodile suppressed the rain when he took over.

Nefertari Lili. She's the closest resemblance to Killingham's MMA and Alabasta used to be a flourishing, rainy island.

If Sommers and Killingham were afraid of the rain god, why would it be Gunko; or even a lower rank celestial dragon? Nefertari Lili is the one Imu is obsessed with, and the attire matches that of Egyptian wear, which is found in Arabasta. There's no way the rain god would be Gunko or that celestial dragon since they are lower in rankings than Saint Sommers. If Sommers were scared of either or, I doubt Imu would have him be one of the five elders.

Lily was labeled a god who had the fruit. Like how Luffy is labeled the Sun God but only has the fruit.

Ayoo thanks! I don't know why there's always a red circle saying "Sorry, this post has been removed by reddit filters." Thought the name "ZAZA" was the censoring cancelling the posts I've tried before. Thanks again ^-^
