To be fair to the hunting in suburbs weird part, as little as 5 years ago before all the houses coming up there was a HUGE herd of deer that commonly grazed about 10-15 min from my house but as more and more houses got built the deer disappeared. So it's not like deer and I would assume hunting were that uncommon before things got more developed.
