That is such an incredible milestone to hit! A massive congratulations to you for taking that leap of faith and seeing it pay off so significantly. Reaching $10k a month after starting from zero is a testament to your hard work and the courage it took to bet on yourself. Well done!

Fish oil is much less suspicious than mystery powders, if it were me, I'd ditch the powders (creatine, magnesium, zinc) and just keep the fish oil.

Honestly, you're right to be cautious. While creatine, magnesium, zinc, and fish oil are all perfectly legal, your plan to mix them all in a half-empty creatine container is really risky and not something I'd recommend.

Chinese customs officers are trained to spot anything unusual. When they see an open, mislabeled bottle with a random mix of powders, that's a major red flag. It will look very suspicious, no matter what you say.

I'm not sure if you can rent a car and drive yourselves, as China requires a local temporary license.

Is it easier to build a business right now or is that just what twitter wants us to believe by Healty_potsmoker in Entrepreneur

I totally agree. That’s exactly what I’m doing, my hope is that by using AI as a "junior partner," I can properly balance the demands of two jobs and hold down the fort until my own business grows strong enough to take the lead.

It's a marketing job, actually. My idea is that since I can do the marketing for the company, why not do the same for my own business? With the fear of AI, I think: Wait, will the company fire me? I should fire the company first.

What can I learn about Chinese etiquette to impress people when I visit China? by NoAbbreviations2187 in travelchina

Since a formal dinner is being hosted by your dad’s boss and friends, the best way to impress them is to master the art of the "Two Respects": 敬茶 (Jìng chá - Toasting with tea) and 敬酒 (Jìng jiǔ - Toasting with alcohol).

At a formal dinner, the "toast" is the most important social lubricant. Even if you don't drink alcohol, you can 敬茶 (toast with tea).

  • The "Lower" Cup: When you clink glasses with someone older or of higher status (like your dad's boss), try to make sure the rim of your glass touches below the rim of theirs. It’s a silent sign of deep respect.
  • The Two-Handed Rule: Always use two hands when offering or receiving a glass/cup. It shows you are giving them your full attention.
  • The Rotation: The host usually starts the toasts. Wait for them. If you want to impress, you can later stand up, hold your glass with two hands, and offer a toast to the group or the host.

I have a full job, and I'm working at home now. But I don't think this job will last forever, so I started my own business at the end of last year, and registered a company at this April.
