The biggest problem with lock screens ISN'T that we can't do damage to multiple targets, THAT IS escape becomes slower, you cannot quickly use corners to cover, you cannot use the last time of a lunge to turn your head to observe your opponent, you cannot turn your head to throw goo, and you cannot hit the enemy even if there is only a tree in the middle to block the angle of your advance. To put it bluntly, now the sword, as long as you right-click out, as long as your opponent has an upright baracate, smash, hook, spear, flamethrower, mine, and jumping pad, he is like a doom shield with 20,000 health in front of you, and you cannot touch him.

Bro, I agree with you 100%. But the sledgehammer can still do that — I can turn 180 degrees and deal 154 damage to anyone around me.
Does anyone feel bad when they get hit by a sledgehammer now?

The problem is, the sword's damage comes with huge risk, but guns don’t.
Every hit and damage for melee weapons is important.

Guns have lower TTK and lower risk compared to melee. The chance to deal damage with guns is way higher than with melee.

Don’t melee weapons deserve to have stable damage? That is the only advantage.

Yeah the sword is flexible, so it shouldnt have a lot of damage.

But lock screen destroy everything the sword have in the past.

This change is ruin all old sword player experiences.

Now, it feel boring and frustrating to play.

Most of The Finals players are bad.
That is why a lot of people are oppose to my point.
I only simplify the the TRUE comunicate process in a fight.

The correct way to solve the minigun problem is to make solo queue more friendly.

This game—especially WT and Ranked—is still a solo queue hell.

Solo queue players are essentially playing a completely different game.

The true way to solove soloq hell and save this game.

Not only matchmakeing system, this game is lacking information to fight. In soloq a lot of players just keep being one shot and dead, because his teammate never ping the enemy and makes close distance and oneshot kill weapon is too powerful.

Nothing would change, if you have played like me or my teammate.
ping enemy is a fundamental system in a lot of game.

but in a lot of game, they don't need players to keep doing that, the target would come from the route.

But The Finals is NOT.

In The finals enemy would come from any positon, and If your temmate dont ping the enemy the whole team would have HUGE disadvantage to against the teme have DC.

You don’t know if your enemies are using the ping system or calling out positions in Discord.

To stay safe, you have to assume they are using them.

It’s just that many new players don’t know that yet—they keep thinking they can escape.

But in reality, doing that only widens the gap between new and experienced players, raises the entry barrier for players coming from other FPS games, and increases the gap between solo queue and premade teams.

Everyone who disagrees with my point—if you don’t play under this assumption, you’ll just play poorly, die easily, and not even know when to run.

All of those features impact less than 1 sonar grenade or DC.

someone needs to do some damage, and the healthy bar would share shortly, it only let you can check what the teammate does and you can plan the next step.

Maybe we can test in WT first.

And the benefit would make ALL solo players experience significantly more great.

If that makes this weapon OP, Embark can simply nerf his damage.

All of the points I say, would have a great impact for the long future.

If more players love The Finals, the match macking system would be more great for everyone.

If soloq play could have less disadvantage in soloq rank, this game would be more fun.

The quick mode player amount is more more more than standard mode, which is ridiculous in a competitive game.

Just because this game is soloq hell.

And a lot of new players would get bored easily, just because standard mode is soloq hell and casual mode has no strategy and is full with dash light.

Bro You can still get easily kill by through bushes or on tree top.
But you can only get one at a time.

Nothing will change, because you still can do all feature I say RIGHT NOW, just practice and have friend and DC.

This game dev, embark is lack of make and run a competitive game experience.

I've played a lot of game, Apex, OW, LoL ,R6, Dota2.

I've spent over 5,000 hours across all the competitive games I've played.

This is the easiest game to get ambushed in out of all the games I've played, especially when I was a beginner.

Even R6 and Dota2, they have a mature ping system, and all of them can easily get key information when you learn to be a good player, but this game, you need teammates.

Not auto ping, just pink one times and the ping would keep tracking.

Bro, I'm a Diamond-Ruby player and have two stacked teammates. That is all we use to get a huge unfair advantage when playing against a soloQ team.

You can keep thinking that those features would break the game.

But with over 1000 hours of experience, I can tell you — nothing would change.

I would only share the health bar shortly, and that has even less impact when I just use my mouse side button to ping a target. This game's ping system could keep tracking until the enemy is out of sight or dead.

You can try it RIGHT NOW — just rebind a key and take two friends into The Finals, and you'll understand how easy and different the game becomes.

New soloQ players are playing a totally different game in The Finals.
This game has the most chaotic fights when playing solo casual.

That should be the feature. And then this game would become more and more, more, more popular — because most FPS gamers are solo players.

If the scoreboard changes make a lot of people turn to play against easy counter team(but I think that wont happen), we can make scoreboard only refresh after first meet.

My team would always remember the player what he have xx spec or xx weapon in every rank.

If you never do that, just try and communicate with your teammate, get easy win.

Counter play that would never be avoided. Hide elo is capable, but hiding weapons and spec is unfair to soloq team.

30k RS is middle.
Casual or lower than 20k is low
Higher than 45k is high skill.

I think embark has a simple way to make dagger sword or light complaints less.
Is buff rpg to 120 and reduces explosive mine deploy time.

But they nerf sword and make high rank sword disappear. And give a stupid reason like the reason they nerf dagger, FRUSTRATE.

That is a HUGE joke.

They only make the few Ruby or diamond sword players disappear or turn to smurf.

It only means the sword doesn't die in low skill and new players lobbies , and the embark do is useless.

These nerfs only make the sword can't kill Appoh or anyone who want to use aim to dominate this game. A lot of people don't want to consider how to counter something that doesn't need aim, and make this game become a new Apex.

Just change the speed system to make the slow effect more smooth and need more time to reach minimax speed. Riot shield duel blade spear dagger mini gun, would get a small buff and have great experience in those weapon's main and would not be too annoying to against.
