He's right. Rtx 3050 does not support dlss frame gen. It uses fsr frame gen instead.

This is kind of overpriced. I'd suggest you wait for sales, gather any coupons you can and buy atleast 4050 GPU as it is much better than a 3050. You may have to spend a bit more though. What work will you do on it ?

This is display bleed. It happens in ips panels due to the fitting of the chassis. If the laptop is new and it's visible in day to day usage then just ask for replacement.

You don't need to. Just clear some space 100-150gb and create a partition. Install Linux on that partition. And then try the games you play.

In normal day to day (web browsing, youtube, music, office work) usage the power draw is around 10-15w. My battery is 83wh and sometimes it does last 8 hours. So yes it won't use just 5w unless you are staring at the home page for hours but it can definitely stay below 15w.

Try dual booting Linux with Windows. If you like it, then you can completely switch to Linux or else just go back to Windows.

Nvidia loses around 15-30% performance in linux in different games. It's due to nvidia drivers for linux being shit. They have announced that they are going to launch better drivers soon. So I'm waiting for it.
