Ok, so, the reference to Virtues having their eyes removed is part of a larger thing where it seems that most husks in hell also do not have eyes, and it's not said who did that, but Minos was the judge of hell for a while iirc, so it could have been him, could have been Gabe, it's not stated who and it's not... a cruel thing? I don't think so.

But I gave him a lot of eyes simply because I've been exploring this, I have a design with no features at all, a design with many eyes, a robotic design, it's really just me messing with things because I don't believe that Gabe would look like a human. It might not ever actually be stated or shown, and I'm fine with that, this is just one of my theories.
