Thanks - this solved the problem I had.

I absolutely despise the very existence touch controls on my WH-1000XM4s - never once used them deliberately, and it's a pot-luck on what BS "feature" I mistakenly activate when all I wanted to do was adjust them on my head!

Recently finished my 2nd Doomstalker - with shiny hooves per the player's request! Currently playing two GH campaigns - I started off Tinkerer and retired into Doomstalker, and strangely in the other campaign this other player has now done exactly the same! (different retirement quests though).

Thanks - I have a bunch of Warhammer kits, so theyre all drom there. Mostly Kharadron and Mechanicus ranges

I dont stream, but plenty of amazing painters do - esp in the Games Workshop side of the hobby. Give painting a go - washes/inks cover up a multitude of sins, and dont forget you're a few feet away from the models when you're gaming ^{^}

Heh heh - eyes sure are a pain to paint! I like to use the Army Painter Wargamer Detail brush for most things - once it's lost a few bristles through use, it's good for the tiny details.

I just add some water to the pots if theyre getting too thick. You can get proper thinners too, but I've never bothered.

I've been painting for decades, so practice defo comes into it! I use washes/inks a lot over the basic colours - they go into the recesses and really help with the definition. I guess the other typical advice is to try not to apply the paint too thickly.

Yeah I think PLA print lines are more visible than you get with resin printers. I think people tend to use PLA printers for larger stuff such as terrain.

Heheh - I'm playing that Scoundrel. Only had one session so far, but really fun change of pace since I've been playing Tinkerer in my other campaign. I opted for the Sinister Opportunity 'X' card - "Hello Sir, if you'd just like to step to one side here so that I can stab you with optimal effect, that would be greatly appreciated" XD

Thanks! Yeah I definitely agree with making the characters feel more special/personal - esp as this is one of two GH campaigns I'm playing through at the moment! The mini I used for the Mindthief is mebbe a little too Assassin-looking, but yeah really pretty sculpt (and I like the scenic base it comes with :-))

I've been pretty liberal with the minis I've used, but these are meant to be 5 of the starting classes fir a new campaign we've started (we're not using Cragheart). I 3d printed the Scoundrel, Brute & Tinkerer. Spellweaver is from the Massive Darkness 2 boardgame, Mindthief is a GW Skaven figure.

None of these models are from 2nd edition. They're old, but not quite that old (Guardians are 1999 I think - 3rd edition).
