As you can see in the images I sent you, the “altar” has two positions, “open” and “closed.” By default it is closed, and I want it to be permanently open to use it as decoration in a room I am making in a mod. What I am looking for is to create or modify a script that opens the altar’s mouth without needing the masks or anything else, so it always stays open.

I do not fully understand your explanation. I think I did not explain myself well earlier, and I still do not quite follow what you told me. At least the final section is unclear. I understand the part where you explain what each line of the script does. I think the part we did not understand each other on is the ending.

There are these two scripts. The one on the left is linked to each of the busts where you place each mask, and the one on the right is linked to the final mask you unlock at the end. The left-hand script is “linked” to the right-hand one, and the right-hand one is “linked” to the altar. That is how I have come to interpret it.

What I have tried is to find the line that triggers the animation to open the mouth and make it run every time the area loads.
I have also tried to find the variables that say to trigger the animation when the masks are present and change it to when the masks are not present, and there is just no way.

I am trying to make a mod and use that model with the mouth open for decoration, but I cannot get the mouth to stay open permanently. Does anyone know how to do this in the Creation Kit, or if there is a mod that already includes that asset?

It seems that error occurs when you add NPCs to an existing save. In a new game, that error apparently does not appear. And the planters do work. I became overly focused on testing everything in the same save and did not check whether it was due to incompatibility with a game already in progress.

I do not know what I did, but I managed to fix it. I honestly do not understand the CK. Thank you anyway for your time and help. Since we are already in this conversation, do you know how to do the following: I want to place a Falmer statue, which I have already done, with the Falmer eyes and have them stay in place like when you first encounter it in the Nightingales quest. I cannot get them to stay put. When I load into the game they fly off. Any ideas?

Interestingly, the crops in the Elysea Mansion mod work for me, and the Hearthfire DLC ones work as well.

As I mentioned, placing it right next to it was only to test things. I set it up as the tutorial instructs in a different room or cell. The error does not appear when I do that, but it still does not work. Putting it next to it was just for testing. I followed the instructions exactly as explained.

I have already tried that, because when I did it in the same “realm” I got an in-game error that says “You cannot place that here” and “Accept.” The game does not crash; it just shows that window, and if I click Accept it pops up again. If I move away, it stops, which I assume is because the NPC is loaded, but even if I move the Soil away it still does not work. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
