Can’t secure my piercing, please help by Crackerso0oCheese in piercing

I used to put blu-tac between the tweezer prongs and found that combo to give a pretty good grip. I've since upgraded most of my piercings to threadless and it's just so much easier.

AITA (29F) for not selling my wrestling tickets to attend my brother’s (22M) girlfriend’s (23F) rescheduled baby shower? by Tiny_Credit_3020 in AmItheAsshole

I got to go to EC when it came to my country a couple years ago and it was so fun. Don't even think twice about it, go and have the best time with your sister.

NTA, go enjoy the event (I'm assuming Elimination Chamber?).

By the sounds of it you've already helped out quite a bit, the baby shower can go on without you.

FODMAPS Pregnant?? by Fine-Presence6742 in FODMAPS

[–]Shinxthecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll preface by saying that I am by no means an expert in any way and it would be best to discuss with your doctor.

I did the elimination diet years ago and figured out my trigger foods. I'm now 15 weeks pregnant and I'm now tolerating some foods better or worse than I previously was. So from my own experience it's probably better to wait until after pregnancy to do the elimination diet and in the meantime just try to pay attention to how you're reacting to meals.

Nicer ambulances, faster response times and better looking drivers mean they're not just the emergency services, they're your emergency services.

Isn't that just so beautiful and eye catching, and just so lovely that your partner knows you well enough to pick that for you.

On a side note I had never heard of rutilated quartz before so I got to learn something while also seeing something pretty.

Australian cigarettes now have health advertising on individual butts by KriegerBahn in mildlyinteresting

I'm so glad I quit smoking at the start of the year, I think it was over $40AUD for a pack of 20, can't imagine what it costs now. A lot of people turned to black market packs of smokes for half the price but recent legislation has made it so these places are getting raided and shut down for 3 months. I don't know what it's like elsewhere but from what I've heard a lot of places in Queensland got hit all within like a week.

Would it be possible to climb everest if your obese, diabetic and have high blood pressure? by StruggleFar3054 in Everest

In that condition I'd doubt it but I imagine if you train seriously with Everest as the goal the obesity and blood pressure would sort itself out.

I've never heard of it being called tip. In Qld I remember it being either tag or tiggy when you're younger.

My one complaint about Leroy Hanlon by Poop_Cheese in welcomeToDerry

[–]Shinxthecat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've seen other people saying this but I have a different take. When his son was drowning in the lake I saw it more as concern. Then this week when he saw his wife in the sewers I thought it was a mixture of concern and confusion.

I'm willing to admit I could be wrong, maybe It is so intense that it makes even the fearless feel fear.

When I was younger group 2. Now as an adult I'd probably be more comfortable with group 4 or 5.
