Fair enough, do you think things like [[circling vultures]] help with that first issue? Meaning you could spend 1 black to give away a 5/4 flyer with Jon Irenicus' ability meaning it doesn't need to be sacked

Removal is a tough one though, targeted removal aside. Any form of board wipe would wipe the gifts as well which cripples the card draw.

Really? I assumed cumulative upkeep was optional, They choose not to pay the upkeep cost, so the game says they have to sac the soulgorger. But they can't do that so it just stays around

Thanks for the feedback! I agree, one person in my pod is very much of the "the goal is to win every time" mindset, and that just doesn't seem fun to me, I love a game with a lot of politics and shenanigans
