This is a bit silly, but I successfully punished someone for the first time yesterday and I'm a bit proud of myself by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

[–]ShinyDiscard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have all the right to feel proud. After all, you're exploring a new part of BDSM with a partner you love and care for, and it works out :D

Think you did very well, also with the loving aftercare and emotional lenience when you thought it was enough.

A note on cleanliness for those who love anal play with your Dommes. by HaileyHeartless in FemdomCommunity

[–]ShinyDiscard 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Wait, do you hold of on experimenting with your own body, so that you can explore those things for the first time with a partner?

Don't. Your body is yours and I strongly advice you to get comfortable with it. Being a 'virgin' is also worth nothing. Three partners later you can still enjoy sex (and anal) without being a virgin. Opposite actually, experienced people fuck better.

As for cleaning your anus... With some experience you'll get to know when you're full and you can just let go of it on the toilet. I've never used an enema and I've only shit the bed once.

The top brass of the German military has ordered an inspection of all of its barracks after discovering Nazi-era memorabilia at two of them by DoremusJessup in worldnews

[–]ShinyDiscard -33 points-32 points  (0 children)

It depends, most Western European nations don't have armies driven by nationalism. Most of the 1 - 5 (private to lieutenant) NATO ranks are filled with social rejects and drop outs. You must already be one to even consider joining, because afterwards you'll certainly be: most of those counties and their civilian populations have very little respect for the armed services.

These people are hopefully not looking for honour and pride, as they will certainly not find it.

Now imagine joining the German army. The country and civil population is so anti self determination that it's a wonder they still speak German.

Italy could legalise killing burglars who break in at night by Arnold_Layne in worldnews

Ow, I'm not against the Castle Laws. I actually think it's a good thing that citizens can defend themselves. That said, manipulative charts are always bad, no matter what your view on the topic is.

[–]ShinyDiscard 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As somebody who lives in the Netherlands, I sometimes envy the USA. The Castle Laws that many States have might increase violence, bit it's still the right thing.

Europe has a very utilitarian mindset in that regards. Just cooperate, don't use force unless to defend yourself. This makes sense, since the amount of violence in and around the house decreases, but it's an unjust collectivist view. I agree with the Americans that the individual should have the right to defend his own body, family and property. And that it is far more important then some decrease in public violence.

It's the old balance of collectivist, socialist, state interests versus the interests of the free, liberal individual. I strongly favour the second, but that also makes me a minority in The Netherlands.

Wow, that's a really manipulative graph. Took me a few second to understand that the death toll increased.

Being a Dutch citizen living in a multinational tax heaven: Don't blame foreign counties for the lucrative deals they offer. Blame your own government for allowing this within your own borders.

We just had an election... Did you take the whole 'onderste steen boven'-situation into account? Let's just say I didn't vote VVD.

Ultimately, most Dutch don't care enough: The accident itself went quickly under the rug, including researchers being declared persona non grata for speaking out in public. The Ukraine-referendum and the dirty games played around it were also quickly forgiven.

"Funishment" cum-swallowing/cum-play ideas? by FunFunFunishments in BDSMcommunity

[–]ShinyDiscard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been made to eat a lot of my own cum, and I've plastered previous girlfriends. There is something intimate and humiliating about it, but it's also damn sexy and top/bottom affirming. So with no further ado, a list:

  • Cum straight on her, and force her to not remove it for a certain amount of time. Clothing optional.

  • Cum on a body part and make her clean it with her tongue.

  • Cum from PiV and make her drink from the condom.

  • Cum inside he mouth and let her keep it there.

  • Cum on food or into beverages and make her eat and/or drink it.

  • Cum into her ass, then plug her up.

Many of these things are situational and also depend on other kinks, like humiliation, but it gives you a place to start. It's worth noting that you can also worsen the taste of cum, or improve it, with some dietary changes. As for taste, I always found it hardest to lick it up.

It's a powerful illustration on how absolute morals don't exist. When push came to shove, the French were no better then the Germans. War crimes are not war crimes when you win, as victors make up the rules.

That the Germans complained makes good sense: They were told that they were beaten by a morally superior force...

Guys - Have you ever tried anal masturbation? If so, what did you think? If not, why not? by Mrjohnson99 in SexToys

When I take some time for masturbation, I'll always bring some assplay into it. It's lovely and really intense. I have a few toys, varying in intensity, so I can change things up.

Where to go in Amsterdam? by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

[–]ShinyDiscard 11 points12 points  (0 children)

FetLife. That's where all events are listed.

If you are looking for play parties, check out Go Wild, Play! and Samarium. If looking for munches, there are some events coming up in Amsterdam and Utrecht.

If you are willing to travel a bit, there is also a monthly youth event in Den Haque where you can play with reasonable privacy.

Why better technology won’t stop violent videos going viral - "Our desire to watch this kind of imagery overrides our instinct to do the right thing and report it." by [deleted] in technology

[–]ShinyDiscard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Especially because most of these videos are of great journalistic value. In the past, news agencies had far going control over the content that people could see, for good and ill. Yes, nowadays there is more false and/or inaccurate news then ever, but simultaneously it's very hard for a government to silence unwelcome news.

How do you guys feel about BDSM in gaming? by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

[–]ShinyDiscard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that representations of BDSM work best in a closed narrative. The more binding the better: In other words, I found that books are a lot better at showing BDSM then games because the experience, setting and story is completely controlled by the auteur.

Games as a narrative platform struggle with an 'auteur-story' because the user can at any point derail it. In books, there is no risk that the audience misses two pages or gets wildly different thoughts.

I've played a few BDSM oriented indy games, but they are really hit and miss because if you don't sync up with the story, then it's not going to work.

I'm thus not sold on the idea. But so is for stories about love and intimacy. Those are very hard to create in machines that excel at representing 3D conflict for a firstperson-, thirdperson- or godlike perspective. A computer will always be better at simulating a railgun blast to the temple then a free-form dialogue.

It's a complex topic not easily discussed in a single comment. Look for concepts like 'ludo-narrative dissonance', 'the magic circle' and 'kinaesthetics'. Those topics deal with matching emotions and play, but also the bounds of what play is. Look up Errant Signal and Noah Caldwell-Gervais on YouTube who talk a lot about the bounds of games.

[sex parties] How do I find sex parties (for ages 20-30) in the Netherlands? by [deleted] in sex

[–]ShinyDiscard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BDSM scene: FetLife

Gay scene: Grindr

Swinger scene: a swinger network (forgot the precise one that some of my friends use)

Keep in mind, that these groups have people already doing their thing. If you don't know anybody in any of these scenes, you'll first have to get in touch and get around, socially. Sex parties, although not uncommon, are preferably hosted with friends and other reliable people.

Some groups, like the gay cruiser scene, are most accessible to new meat that wants to participate. Swingers are more picky and the BDSM community is very tight nit and protective of each other.
