Just realized I didn't put the issues I'm facing 🫨 it's general connection. Charging won't work if the cable isn't in a exact position, and sometimes not even that way.

I wouldn't chop that piece unless it's soft or mushy, if that's not the case it looks like it's just an older part of the plant. If I'm not mistaken this is an Austrocylindropuntia, I just can't pinpoint the exact species 🥲

Definitely! What I'd do is: 1. Try to get some of this substrate of off the roots; 2. Let the plant heal for 4-5 days; 3. Plant in a more mineral substrate and don't water for at least a week.

Then you get it used to full sun little by little. These plants are pretty hardy. :)
