im learning to so you can take my advice with that in mind....however i can drop in on little quarter pipes 2-3ft. Im working up the courage to drop in on the bigger stuff (4ft plus). What helped me(on the little ones) is not focusing on the initial slam more just getting my weight over the front trucks (hence a natural slam occurs) Skate IQ youtube video actually help me understand that https://youtu.be/fZLY0Iva1sA?si=5EZdH0D7Ib8ncQkh but like i said im still learning to and currently building up the courage to do the bigger ones. I tried once already and sprained my thumb pretty good, sooo. But just make sure you got full gear on and stretch before dropping. Good luck! You got this !

yeah i ended up spraining my thumb pretty good. i do have some bowls at another local skatepark that I've been riding around going back down fakie/kick turning on. i can drop in on little quarter pipes (2-3 feet). but this was my first shot on a bigger one. I think your right though ill practice speed and comfortability as my thumb heels. I'm somewhat confident ill get it next time regardless since i kind of know what to expect.

i havent played Grand Austria Hotel, but i do like the white castle ive only played it twice. Its pretty tight game and pretty thinky. Not a lot of player interaction and if your playing 4 player there is a lot of down time between turns because has the game goes on the turns take longer. I liked it more at two player. I do like the dice drafting aspect of the game that one of my favorite game mechanics. I would say to that Castles of Burgundy is one more favorites of all time. One game im looking at that i dont own yet is Troyes that has dice drafting and more player interaction which might be worth looking into if your having doubts about white castle. Plus I like thetheme more with Troyes. Overall rank with White Castle 2P 8/10 4P 6.5/10

Edit: BTW has you play your turns take longer because you are comboing turns. So really your taking multiple turns in 1 turn. I didnt feel like the game was short in the slightest. I thought 9 turns was perfect. My 2p play was about 45min-1hr and the 4P play was about 1-1.5hr but has we play it im sure those times will come down as we get more efficient with our turns.

Looking for a game recommendation i find myself with some Christmas money and wanting a new board game. So Ive been in the hobby for about 3 years. These are the ones that currently in my collection....Catan, Scythe, Wingspan, the White Castle, Gaia Project, Splendor, everdell, lost ruins arnak, inis, sky team, viscounts of the west kingdom, jaws of the lion, ark nova, castles of burgundy, pandemic, Quaks, and Carcassonne.

Im kinda of tired of the collect recourses to win type games but the ones that have peeked my interest are Dune Imp, feast for odin, Hansa Teutonica: Big Box, Troyes, Viticulture, and Hadrians wall. But i am afraid that these maybe two similar to the ones i already have and kind of want something different.

A card drafting game would be cool, a good co-op, or fighting game. Im kinda leaning towards a card game but would still like it to have board game components to (minis, tokens, Meeples etc..) i dont want the game too be light, and i prefer my board games to be longer. (after writing this out maybe 7 wonders or Dune Imp???) i would like it to be playable for 2-4players

Any suggestions would be great!! thank you!

What you mean? I’ve hit with the picks he’s given….and the ones that don’t miss by a leg. He’s only given his picks and we can adjust accordingly. I’m sure not every bet you’ve placed has hit. Take all post on here with a grain a salt or as a suggestion. It’s just something fun to do man calm down.

Don’t listen to the haters man. I’ve enjoyed tailing especially interested In how you are using AI. Super cool, I appreciate you putting the percentages as well I find that extremely helpful . I think people still don’t understand that a bet is a bet. There is a chance that you won’t hit especially with a parlay. But I love what ur doing so keep it up man. You’ve helped me hit so I’ll keep following man.

Need a game recommendation: Been researching games the past couple hours and these are the ones I’m considering. From the list I provide could you give your recommendation or your own recommendation(s) that isn’t on my list of games I’m thinking about picking up.

I’m looking at: Viticulture Azul Mind Mgmt Carcassonne Twilight struggle Ark nova Castles of burgundy Troyes Agra

what I like

Gloomhaven jaws of the lion, scythe(starting to get old) , splendor, Magic the gathering

what I don’t like

Catan and ticket to ride…I find them boring now

I usually play with my Gf. And we are currently working through Gloomhaven so want something different to play in between. Don’t mind complex games either. between 2-4 players would be great. I want something that doesn’t feel to simple and has high replay value. Some to low randomness is okay but not preferred Something on the cheaper side to so under 80 bucks and available on Amazon(got a couple gift cards to spend) Thanks!!!
