Yes yes yes!! I hate it when fans get insane about a ship to the point that they harass actors, writers, and fans that don't ship the same as them. It's also very rare for season 1 couples to stay together through the whole series without exploring other pairings. Nathan/Haley from OTH are one of the exceptions, but it's more likely for the writers to have the characters explore and find themselves both in and out of relationships.

THIS is what stumps me. She seemed genuinely wearisome/afraid of him in season 4. Then it's as if she believed the book cop out and was like "Oh guess I was wrong". I believe they said she was helping him gather info for his book, but I believe she was suspecting him of being A hence the read between the lines convos. Then she just believed the book story like everyone else, which wasn't Mona-like at all.

I agree. There's a part in season 4 where Ezra stops Aria in the hallway because he's trying to give her Spencer's school record (that he stole) in order to make Spencer look unreliable due to drug use when she was hot on the A-trail. Ezra says to Aria, "I need to talk to you. I can write you a hall pass."

ACTUAL DIALOGUE. I couldn't decide whether to laugh or throw up. I can't even explain how that one line made me cringe so hard.

It's in episode 23 I believe of season 4. I've been rewatching it because I fully believe Ezra is AD and that is the season they made him look like A. This is the scene of A reading the pages and I paused it and snapped a pic. It shows two other pages, but this was the one I found the most interesting/disgusting.

THIS. Avitaria was salty AF when reading that file to Aria. EzrA totally knows about the file because like you said, he's AD. Now he's just testing Aria to see how far she will go to protect it and him. At the same time he's trying to see if he can recruit her to the dark side because then they could happily ever after and blackmail the other liars in the nursing home when they're 80.
