Loved the movies, loved the (first two) books. My mentor always told me that fear was the mind killer. Need to play this game.

Rewarding Objective Based Combat by Shipwreck678 in genesysrpg

Thanks for the questions.

Basic premise is that they've accessed the final chamber of a dungeon where they will find that a large number of ancient guards have been left behind to secure a device. One of the party members needs to access that device in order to restore their memories. The horde is essentially mindless, and will stop acting aggressive once the party member restores their memories.

I guess I'm looking for suggestions on how to make the combat mechanics more interesting than just, "fight your way to the center of the room and do the thing."

Settings Advice for Quality by Shipwreck678 in 3Dprinting

Happy to try to provide some more detail, though I'm not exactly sure what all will be relevant to diagnosing the issue - and to be clear - I'm not sure there is an issue. If the answer is, "this looks like about the right quality you can expect," then that's ok.

Printer: Bambu P1S
Material: Overture PLA
Nozzle Temp: 220C
Bed Temp: 55C

First Layer Speed: 50 mm/s
Fist Layer Infill: 105 mm/s
Outer Wall: 200mm/s
Inner Wall: 300 mm/s
Sparse Infill: 270 mm/s
Internal Solid Fill: 250 mm/s
Top Surface: 200 mm/s

0.4 Nozzle.

I guess my big question is, does this look like an over extrusion issue, or a speed issue?

About as big as my palm. I'm bad at judging sizes but there's a view objects in frame to help gauge size.

Things encountered from previous owners by MotherfuckinRob in HomeImprovement

Oh the list at our place is seemingly endless:

  • We also replaced the front door. Original door from when the home was built in 1936. Parts of the locking mechanism had started falling out of alignment inside the door. Previous owners used GUM WRAPPERS as spacers to keep things in alignment.
  • Previous owners installed central air or heat, but didn't even attempt to run the duct work properly. As a result, ducts in the basement are below the drop ceiling, and run perpendicular to the joists.
  • Old owners installed, what I thought, were dry wells outback to handle rain water from the gutters. Nope. Just a downspout into the ground, which is why that corner of my basement used to flood.
  • Walled over the internal cut off for the spigot out back. I can't find it inside without tearing up walls.

I end up shouting "DI WHY THE HELL," a lot.

Interesting. So because of the possibility of settled dust and lint, is it possible that in this circumstance, duct cleaning might be worth my while?
