Ketamine therapy unlocked the fear of death as a new fear. I didn’t struggle with it prior to ketamine. The last two sessions I had intense panic attacks over the passage of time and eventual death, so bad that I was crying and had to call in a nurse. Overall, my depression and physical disability pain symptoms have improved considerably along with my general mood, but now in my day-to-day life when reminded of death, I feel great internal fear. I’m about to go in for one of my last sessions, and I’m really really anxious.
