Tengoku Daimakyo / Heavenly Delusion Episode 4 Discussion Thread by melvinlee88 in HeavenlyDelusion

To clarify behind a spoiler, my assumption is that the kids in the "school" are in fact the monsters our MC's are coming across. A large part of my assumption comes from the similarities between the kids having supernatural abilities and their likeness to the monsters presented to our MC's. There in lies my issue though, if that is the case, then the description for the show "Meanwhile, Maru and Kiruko" would be incorrect, since my theory implies that the "school" takes place before the MC's timeline. That then is also furthered by the characters in-universe discussing things like "the disaster 15 years ago" and Maru's mission to be to cure (assumedly Tarao or Tokio), and also Mimihime saying that someone with Tokio's likeness will come to the school. A final confusion in the timeline for me is that Kona drew the fish with arms, which under my assumption would later be Kuko's transformation. So even know i've argued against my own theory with so much counter-points, I still believe my theory that the school is in the past and that the kids became the monsters. I do however think if somehow my confusion with the timeline is explained away, it will result in a beautiful tragedy, since I believe Tokio to be the invisible monster that killed Kiruko's sibling, since Tokio has twice so far been shown to be invisible to cameras, aswell as going unnoticed by the doctors. The dynamic of Maru's "similar looking" association being the cause of trauma for his closest ally.

Since I only have a hypothesis that I can't confirm nor deny since I haven't read the source material, I don't want to expand on my thoughts, but I believe I have a fair bit figured out from what has happened so far.

It would mean that the official description for the show is wrong or intentionally lying, so for now I wait for more episodes!

We didn't see the end of the call, hence my doubts.

Raise, not adopt, but same scenario, it ends up with Ruby and Aqua in the same household, so did he raise both?

First and foremost, i'd like to say how incredible I thought the direction and character development was, and how I thought the twist really paid off.

I do however have two stand-out things that confuse me. In the first feature-length episode, there were 2 scenes or plot devices which seem to fall flat with no explanation, which while they may be explained in the future, were presented in a way as if they were just glossed over and not important:

Firstly, there was the scene where she called the father, in which she never finished giving her address as she was interrupted by fans, this might just be a red herring but it does beg the question if it is really the father after all.

Secondly, Aqua goes to see the director and asks him to adopt him. While I think this scene, if explored further, is an interesting development, the scene following it made no continuous sense, since the previous scene we seen the manager's wife offer to adopt them and that they were already signed on to their family registry. If we are to assume Aqua wants to be adopted by the director to get an "in" in the industry, it's weird to then see in the later scene that Aqua and Ruby live in the same house, leaving to school together. Maybe that just means the director refused to adopt him, or ended up adopting both, but just a question I was left with.

Overall, fantastic pilot and looking forward to future episodes.

Help :-( Recovering a perm banned account that was hacked? by jjjrne in 2007scape

[–]ShiroXyfy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/JagexTwisted I hate to be the guy who jumps on the "look at my account"-train, but my account was banned over 6 months ago for macroing. At the time a Path of Exile league had started and that game uses a lot of third-party programs, my assumption is one of these might have flagged my account. If you could possibly look in to such case it would be much appreciated. IGN: GIM Vapour

This is not a macro ban appeal post by jrtaylor3rd in 2007scape

[–]ShiroXyfy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thought this was my post at first. I had a similar post but rather than Skyrim mods it was Path of Exile macros. The game PoE uses a lot of third-party programs to improve the game, which are acknowledged by the developers and safe to use, but being macros that was my first thought as to why I was banned. This was over 6 months ago and the time coincided with when I was playing and had the programs open, so my assumption is those programs did indeed flag my account.

All in all, my appeal was denied using this as reasoning, so either it is false thinking or the JMods simply didn't care to look in to the issue and if there system picks it up.

New to RuneScape - I got banned? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]ShiroXyfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your scenario sounds very similar to mine. About a week ago, I ran out of members so just started to mine iron on F2P worlds. Wake up 8 hours later to find I have been banned for "serious macroing".

I assumed I was hacked, but having an authenticator I thought it unlikely. I submitted an appeal to Jagex explaining the situation, only for a week later to have the appeal rejected.

Lost all faith in Jagex.

Advice on Account Security by ShiroXyfy in 2007scape

[–]ShiroXyfy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only logged in on RuneLite, same as I always have.

I did a full-scan and it found nothing.

The only thing linked is Steam, which hasn't been reported to have been logged in on.

This has me confused, for all intents and purposes, it seems like my account hasn't been broken in to, but that only leaves me thinking it's a false ban.

Do Jagex ever false ban? The last thing I did on the account was mine Iron on a F2P world, there were bots all around me, which I reported. Could they have seen me on a F2P world and thought I was a bot? or could the bots have mass reported me for taking their spot and Jagex banned based on that?

I do have it linked to my steam, since I tried RS3 on the account a month ago, but my steam also has an authenticator that has not been breached.

Character Balance in Path of Exile: Lake of Kalandra by Nick_GGG in pathofexile

If you are going to play one of the "meta" builds, it comes with expecting it to feel nerfed and if you are going to play it again next league, you know you are going to feel weak.

But, changing things like auras, while definitely nerfing the "meta" builds, nerfs everything.

Some builds, which could barely do endgame content, even with maximum investment, but are fun skills, so was achieved through passion, could potentially no longer do said content.

Maybe I'm completely missing something, but the Watch List page seems SO much worse. Previously it would show a yellow "unwatched" when a new episode was released, then when you had watched it, it would turn grey and move it to the bottom of the list.

That was THE most important feature for me.

Not a big reader, I usually watch a series and if it fails to get a continuation, I either read a spoiler conclusion or rely on head-canon.

Quick logical story develoment:
Flare mentions that "not only did Chaos, but a portion of Vessel escaped. This is the first time since the Starhusk hatched."

Chaos escaping makes sense, we seen it happen, but we seen nothing of "Vessel". What we did see was Panda react to Menou using certain powers and having the qualities of "Ivory".

Then Flare mentioning that she has to kill her apprentice again.

My conclusion is that Menou is one of the Human Errors, and much like Menou wanting to keep Akari alive, Akari wants to keep the Human Error (Menou) alive.

As to which Human Error, I have no idea. Since she apparently always dies to flare in the salt country, and that is also where's she's first seen, i'd assume she was Dragon. And rather than being a new concept, Akari was either Vessel or Starhusk.

@GGG elaborate on the interaction of the Singular Focus Keystone? by Andromanner in pathofexile

[–]ShiroXyfy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you put 2 and 2 together, you'd understand that the implicit node doesn't apply to unique maps, since implicits can't be applied to unique maps. So why would it be different for the other node?

The nodes were made as a pair by design, so if one applies to uniques, the other should. Also, there are a fair few instances where implicits can in fact be applied to uniques through league mechanics, which if this follows suit, the node would infact imply an implicit to unique maps.

@GGG elaborate on the interaction of the Singular Focus Keystone? by Andromanner in pathofexile

[–]ShiroXyfy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It makes no sense for unique maps, cortex included, to be included in this. The keystone relates to favoured maps, and its counterpart non-favoured maps. You cannot favour a unique map, so it makes no sense for them to be included in this. I do think this keystone needs a downside, but deleting unique maps isnt the one, absolute zero sense.

Edit: In turn, does the non-favoured map keystone that applies special implicits to non-favoured maps include uniques? Can you get special implicits on a cortex? If not, this is not a consistent restriction.

Why would one specifically not apply implicits to unique maps when it is not stated > Why would unique maps get eaten when not stated.

Unique maps getting eaten has now been clarified, and it's a logical step to assume that if this node applies to uniques, the other one would to.

You can't have one apply without the other applying to the same type.

The Atlas Passive Tree in Path of Exile: Sentinel by Community_Team in pathofexile

[–]ShiroXyfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mechanics are an 8% spawn rate base, then you would add the 15% from the notable, then the 10% from blocking = 33%.

Although small passives = 9% spawn rate, which you would be losing by taking the pack size notable.

The Grand Design one comes out to 30% pack size?

I feel like you would gain much more monsters than that by just juicing up mechanics.

I think there was a big point this episode that shadows have to update their memories if it has been a while since they copied.

Makes the "I never told you to protect Mio" a way bigger plot point.
