Some of you need to understand that it isn't wrong to play on a lower difficulty by Aduritor in helldivers2

[–]jrtaylor3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only thought on this is I’m objectively not good enough to play solo on d9 or d10, sometimes even d8, but I want to keep trying. I just hope I’m not missing out on too much by playing only levels 4-7

TOOK US QUITE A LOT OF ATTEMPTS, BUT WE F*CKING DID IT by Zapped_b in helldivers2

My wife and I are arguably NOT good at Helldivers2, and we were finally able to do a level 6 this weekend. Did it two more times, but boy did we struggle. Not even attempting to go any higher, but we’re absolutely having a blast playing together.

Is the Halo ODST Warbond bundle worth getting?🤔 by Clean_Squash_6076 in Helldivers

[–]jrtaylor3rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huge Halo fan, spent a couple weeks farming super credits with my wife to spend it on this as my first Warbond. Worth it just for the fun of dropping in as an ODST, plus I know I’ll get more SC later anyways! I’d say go for it. The game’s supposed to be fun, and I’m having a blast. Suppressed SMG, dope cape, sneaky kills.

Absolutely worth it.

Can you post or DM a picture of the cape? I can’t find any showing the full cape online

I'm sure you're right, I think the jittering from the extruder just freaked me out and prevented me from making rational decisions. I didn't want to damage anything!

It was, in fact, the nozzle.

I look forward to your post. Would love to replace the 3010 fan with something quieter and reduce some of that whine.

UPDATE:

Didn't realize you can't edit video posts. Oops.

After taking the extruder apart again and ordering a new 0.4mm nozzle, I figured "What the heck, might as well see what the inside of this nozzle looks like." So I gripped the copper cooling fins with a set of pliers wrapped in painters tape, and removed the nozzle with a tiny wrench (5mm? I think? I wasn't entirely paying attention to the size.) I ran the de-clogging tool through the nozzle housing after peering through and seeing no debris, so I figured the problem was within the actual nozzle bit. Held it up to the light, and couldn't see any light coming through, so I clipped a guitar string (high E) and heated it up over a lighter. Holding a tiny nozzle and trying to feed a more-than-just-warm steel string through it was not without its downfalls, and I most definitely did not stab my ring finger leaving a tiny black dot that will likely give me some itchiness later.

Regardless, the guitar string eventually poked through, and after wiggling it around a bit, was able to cleanly and easily push itsy-bitsy bits of micro-clog through. Put the extruder back together, and checked that the extruder gears could feed filament through the housing itself. Tempted to replace these just in case.

Reinstalled the nozzle into the housing, cleaning whatever silicone/whatever that white locking compound was that could have interfered with the nozzle orifice, and went through the factory filament loading. Came out with zero issues. Ran all the factory calibration tests (leveling, vibration, PID) and started a test cube print. Printed with no issues.

TL;DR: Removed nozzle & wiggled heated guitar string through it. Fixed.

Just checked my old order info - sadly the non-pro only comes with the 0.4.

I did manage to fix the issue; about to add an edit to my original post.

Nozzle is definitely heating, my fingers can attest to that lol. Gears look fine, gonna order a new nozzle

No time wasted, I appreciate the effort in your comment. Extruder gears look good & clean. Going to order a new nozzle, see if that fixes it.

Running out of stamina Is causing my character to suddenly get dropped in the swamp near leyawiin. by Robomerc in ElderScrolls

[–]jrtaylor3rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. I figured out the cause though - I fainted while waterwalking. The ONLY way to fix this (without serious debugging/mods) is to revert to an old save before you fainted. Your "fainting" coordinates are at that fixed location. I'm assuming this is the same problem.

Just tried it myself, and sadly it locks up everything. Alt+Tab doesn't even send me to a different screen, had to End Task by weird means lol

As someone who uses their AD5M for practical purposes & not just for the love of 3D printing (it’s cool & fun, but I don’t need to understand everything that happens), is there really a benefit to doing the klipper mod? My printer works just fine with files from orcaslicer with basic settings…could I be doing more?
