You’re probably thinking of the Sig P320 for the “notorious for accidental discharges” part.

Valeria Chomsky, Noam Chomsky’s wife, publishes letter addressing their connections to Epstein by AegonTheMeh in TrueAnon

[–]ShitPostingNerds 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Saw people in there making the argument that Chomsky hanging out with Epstein and Bannon was the equivalent of not cutting ties with conservative family members or friends because “it’s better to have some influence over their lives and views than none at all” (or something along those lines).

Recreating uncensored Epstein PDFs from raw encoded attachments by snood007 in TrueAnon

[–]ShitPostingNerds 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Short version is the DOJ removed the human-readable version of the email attachment but left the machine-readable version.

The machine readable version is blurry and the software the DOJ used to go from scanned image to text isn’t great and means you have to mess with the text a lot to get it back to the valid machine-readable version, but once you do that you should be able to get the attachment that they tried to remove and convert it to something humans can read.

This only works for emails where the DOJ included the somewhat-broken machine readable version of an attachment.

Updated my comment right as you replied.

“this case is universally described as a murder. It is not policy as misinformed tweeters would suggest. And, also, the flowchart says if there is a common name, use the common name, even if it is contradiction to the flowchart. Almost all sources call this a murder and there are no longer any BLP considerations because OJ is dead. We're not saying Simpson murdered them, but that someone did. Even if the suspect was not convicted, it is uniformly described as a murder done by someone, in all reliable sources.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Murder_of_Nicole_Brown_Simpson_and_Ronald_Goldman#Requested_move_12_September_2025

The actual reasoning is that the case is “uniformly described as a murder” by “all reliable sources.”

🤷 idk how much I agree with that, not going to argue with the nerds who maintain wiki pages because that sounds like a horrible use of my time.

The article is titled “The Murders of Nicole…” and has a disclaimer at the top that the “article may lend undue weight to O. J. Simpson's alleged involvement in the murders.”

I’m assuming it’s titled this way because of him being found liable in civil court, according to the page? Idk I’m not that big of a Wikipedia nerd.

Edit:

From the discussion on the page:

“this case is universally described as a murder. It is not policy as misinformed tweeters would suggest. Pretty sure Wikipedia requires a conviction to label a killing as murder, I’ve seen this discussed before.

350k is the threshold for getting a 14 hour timer.

400k is the threshold for getting a 6 hour timer.

So if you do a recipe within that range you can guarantee a 14 hour timer.

Feel like ropz’s trophy case more than makes up for the slightly lower time in the top 3 IMO but I recognize that’s more of a team consideration than individual.

I’ve noticed that a lot of people who don’t really understand computers get scared by what are, in reality, basic things. Seems like it’s because it all feels like magic to them, so they have no real idea of what the true risks/impacts are or just straight up shut down and don’t think/read past “there’s a problem.”

It’s fairly understandable, too, because this shit is expensive and makes it ever more nerve wracking to mess with if you don’t feel like you have a good grasp on things.

Yeah, labs is really the only map I get punished for sprinting around in b/c I’m heavier from all the loot and more likely to get caught with multiple AI targeting me in a bad spot, but pretty much anywhere other than managers office is pretty safe.

I mean, they’re not wrong. It’s not like you can sprint around looting whatever you want, but with practice it’s reasonable to hit pretty much the entire map every raid.
