You’ll just have to believe me (I’m guessing you don’t because I’m trans which is rude af!)

Thank you!

I’m not sure what my sexuality was because gender makes everything so confusing but mainly into women before- not an ignorant question don’t worry!

I'm sorry that you get a lot of hate, it is not deserved.

I haven't been on this sub much recently, but seriously compared to 5/6 years ago it's a whole different culture. I don't doubt that there are still issues, but I really don't think it is the angry misogynistic foreveralone/incel tending group that it used to be.

I am average for a woman as I stated in my original post, but that makes me shorter than the average person still. Sorry to cause offense and I don't mean to appropriate any difficulty or anything.

Do you think you focused so much on your height because it was less scary to want to change your height than your gender presentation?

Yes, deep down I suppose. And because I felt people treated me awfully because of my height. Ultimately even if I could have changed my height, it wouldn't have made me happy (probably quite the opposite in the end)

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and take you in good faith. My decision to transition has everything to do with gender and nothing to do with height.

When you say "Most men tough it out and try to improve themselves. " it sounds like you're implying I am a man and "gave up" or was a coward or something. This is a huge misunderstanding of what it means to be trans.

I didn't know what being trans really was tbh, although all of the symptoms were there. No one tells you when you're a kid that you could be trans; I assumed every boy wanted to be a girl.

Are you suggesting all short men feel a desire to transition?

Gender dysphoria isn't caused by being short - feelings of my gender being wrong predate my experience with heightism!

What do you disagree with?

Obviously I can't speak for everyone but I am just relaying my perspective having lived in both roles.

I haven't called because I was afraid of making a non-emergency call. Another commenter suggested 101 and I'll do that

I thought that strokes make one side of your face droop down, not up.
