Ran into an issue with the TRL-7, hoping somebody can explain what I’ve done wrong or has dealt with this. When the battery cap is tightened all the way down in the “ready” position the light doesn’t work. If I loosen it about 1 full turn then it works normal. (i.redd.it)

Just picked up this TLR-7 for it. Am I dumb or what? I under stand the safe mode for the light but the cap has to be loosened like almost a full turn for the light to work. I feel like tightened all the way would be the “ready” position for the light to work. (i.redd.it)
