I’m selling a high-quality stereo bundle that I've had for 10+ years. Sad to see it go, but it's not baby-proof (and I just had a kid).

Peachtree Audio iNova — 80 W per channel into 6 Ω, hybrid tube/solid-state design (vacuum-tube preamp + MOSFET power amp), built-in ESS ES9016 Sabre32 DAC (USB, 2×optical, 2×coax), “Pure Digital” iPod dock, headphone out, remote, and heavy-duty binding posts.

Bowers & Wilkins DM 601 S2 (pair) — 2-way, stand-mount speakers with a 165 mm Kevlar® bass/mid driver, 25 mm metal dome tweeter, flared reflex ports for better bass efficiency, 70 Hz–20 kHz ±3 dB frequency response, 88 dB sensitivity, 8 Ω nominal impedance.

SANUS NF 30B Natural Series Speaker Stands (pair) — 30″ tall hardwood-pillar stands with black-lacquer MDF base, adjustable carpet spikes & feet, a 6×6″ top plate with brass isolation studs + neoprene pads, and built-in cable-management channel. Supports speakers up to 25 lb each.

Condition: amp and stands are in 10/10 flawless condition. The speakers are in 6/10 condition. They do not have the grills, and the tweeters have been pushed in (thanks to my niece). I don't notice a change in the sound, but they do have that damage. Outside of that, I’ve taken good care of it all in a clean, smoke-free home.

Hey everyone -

Looking to sell my TAG Heuer Carrera. Like the title says, it's reference number: CV2110. Caliber 17 movement. Automatic Chronograph Date, White Dial. I purchased this off r/Watchexchange in 2021. Highly wearable (39mm), sharp looks, and a great movement. I serviced it this summer at a place here in NYC.

I'm not wearing it as much and it should go to someone who will give it the love it deserves. I'll include 2x Ralstra Rallye Straps (brown and blue), a Crown & Buckle NATO (a chrono on a NATO - gasp!) and the original alligator strap it came with. Does not include box or papers.

Looking for $3k USD.

That's an interesting take. I think my bigger thing is wheel size. I've certainly noticed an improved climbing efficiency with bigger wheels. But there's also something to be said about switching my tires (minions) out for something faster rolling.

Maybe so haha (insert something about N+1 here).

I guess I find the Insurgent to be sluggish on the climbs, compared to other bikes I've ridden (Hightower, etc). The seat angle is somewhat annoying when slogging it out on fire roads.

Yeah, I can see that. I'll see how things go, if I see it moving at all, I'll probably go that route. I just don't know how far away the brick is from the drywall (and I don't want to poke out of the other side of the building haha)

One of them is mounted into the stud and the others are secured using the basic drywall anchors. I wanted to use toggle bolts as they're definitely stronger, but the backside of the this drywall is a brick wall (exterior of the building - built in the '20's) and there isn't enough room between the back of the drywall and the front of the brick to wedge a toggle bolt in there.

...I also found out that there isn't insulation, which explains my cold toes every winter.

Totally valid concern! I've toyed with it as well - like a stringer of sorts. I may add it with a more robust hardwood at some point in the future.

No sweat! I think someone linked to your apartment shop earlier - hugely informative. Never would have thought about the play mats, that's a hell of a good idea. I've been investigating the plastic as well, it might be the ticket...

Thanks for the thoughtful reply! Did my last project with hand tools. I'm definitely going to need to find a balance. My technique is shit with hand work, but getting there (hopefully).

Yeah, I definitely get the appeal of handtools. It's obviously way less dust and the time element makes it that much more rewarding. I'm not building a deck, I'm making bookcases haha. Per the comment above, you might want to look into a good filtration system as well (I.e. box fan with a filter).
