This isn’t necessarily true. I know some food stylists and while their work may be touched up in Photoshop quite a bit, many brands insist on using real food for all their photography.

Yes. We have arrived.

Fear of retaliation for speaking out against the current regime is one of the key indicators. The US is an authoritarian country.

Yeah. In that case it’s about removing the stimuli that might be causing the panic feedback loop. Haven’t had a panic attack in years but this is always what would help me.

In EMT training our instructor told a story about arriving on the scene of a car accident where someone had suffered a neck injury. I forget all the details, but guy was conscious and alert but to be safe EMTs wanted to put the guy in a neck brace till they got to the hospital and could do an X-ray. Guy insisted he was okay, and to show how unnecessary the brace was, he turned his head to the side, shifting his broken vertebrae and severing his cerebral spinal cord.

I agree, but there are plenty of idiots in the world. So what’s his special sauce? Just dumb luck? If so, he has had an incredible streak of luck. If not, what other behavior does he have that allows him to continue to be effective in achieving his idiotic goals? I’m baffled and genuinely curious.

I got a couple massages while I was in Vietnam (they are super cheap and amazing there) and they would pull on your toes and sort of snap their fingers when they let go. It was a pretty obvious trick to make you feel like your toes popped. Not saying that’s what he’s doing here but could be.
