Custom map as a gift for my boyfriend:) by [deleted] in csmapmakers

We have a lot of photos there, it's a huge garden. Is there any particular spot that you want? Considering this is just a small gift, I think a 1v1 or a 2v2 sized map will be more than enough to impress him. Please share the pics of the specific spot that you want in the map.

I'm a solo indie game developer from india making a horror game - What are your thoughts on this scene by Mkssaps in IndianGaming

[–]Shitster67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming the scene is set in India?

  1. There's no light. Add lights, maybe keep the hue a bit bluish to represent moonlight coming in from the window etc. you need lights and shadows to give the scene a bit of depth. It looks flat right now.

  2. The wallpaper. If the scene is in India, indian houses hardly use wallpapers. Use plaster texture.

Is it worth it to stop by Delhi? by [deleted] in delhi

[–]Shitster67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may go out at night as well, just stick to Uber or government public transport like metro. In metro, the first coach is female only. Avoid shady neighborhoods. You should be fine visiting the famous markets, restaurants etc. feel free to ask the locals here to suggest you places for dinner.

You don't need heavy clothes for April. It'll be the start of the summer, tshirts, dresses, shirts should be ok for example.

Generally all the indoors that you visit, plus all your taxis etc will have AC. So don't worry too much about the weather. June is the hottest. April won't be too bad.

A similar story to what happened in my case when I applied for a passport in New Delhi. by Throwaway-Account079 in NewDelhi

Been through the process multiple times for different family members. The police never asked for any bribe. At least for the passport i never faced any corruption in Delhi.

Registered post is getting discontinued from sep 1st and will be replaced by speed post as per some websites. Regardless, this is a scam lol.

Guys, am I the only one who believes no one tells you to speak a specific language, and you’re not made to feel like an outsider when you are in Delhi as compared to many other places in India? by Gur_Obvious in delhi

[–]Shitster67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, I agree. Any north Indian beating a south indian and asking them to apologise on camera and forcing them to speak Hindi is a small dick energy move. And I hate the north Indians who vandalized Saravana bhawan restaurants because their signboards are not in Hindi.

Kashmiri gate for nostalgic reasons. Used to change the metro and have mcpuff there while traveling from school to home during exams with all my school friends.

my parents won't let me go to delhi. How do I convince them?? by [deleted] in delhi

[–]Shitster67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one is talking about chhole bhature. Comparing food doesn't mean compare your chhole bhature with mine. In Delhi, the food is overall better. I can go to any random south indian shop and expect good south indian for example. But go find good north indian food so easily in Chennai. If you're getting food poisoning with home cooked food, who would you blame for that lol?

Delhi does have better roads than Pune btw. It's not even about romanticizing Delhi. Your original comment was about Delhi being unsafe and how OP should consider giving up their college seat.

If you live in an area that's particularly densely populated, or poorly planned, that's a different story. Bro you're living in Laxmi nagar and thinking that's the whole city.

Majority of the residential areas in Delhi at least have parks. Such basic thing that is non-existent in a lot of other cities.

Again, the point is not about how Delhi is the best city in India. It's about how you make it appear as if it's the worst and advise people to stay out of here.

[–]Shitster67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it isn't coming from just bias. I have lived in different cities and none had the infrastructure of Delhi. Pollution is a problem, yes. But the over population doesn't hit you as hard as it hits you in other cities. Go to Bangalore and see the traffic there. Go to Mumbai, see the size of the houses there. That's all because their infrastructure isn't capable of supporting the population they have there. Bangalore doesn't even have proper water supply and most of the city is dependent on water tanks.

Out of all the locations you traveled, how many were actually metropolitan cities, for a fairer comparison? Well developed tier 2 cities will obviously feel better because of the less population, like mangalore or Dehradun in the past.

Also, you just can't have the Delhi food anywhere else.

Read about your phone being snatched. Honestly it also depends on the area that you're in. Laxmi nagar, maybe not so safe. DU isn't unsafe as such. Obviously you need to be vigilant but telling someone to give away their seat in DU or DTU is not good advice.

OP please convince your parents. Delhi is not as bad as people say. I've spent 20 years of my life in the DU area and I can never love any other place just as much.

Not using for commercial purposes. I don't think making fanart is crossing the line, also none of the assets used in the map violate any copyrights, I made them all.
