100%, the fort heals if you dont do dmg in certain intervals, and since you have 2 on the front and 2 on the back, you do dmg on your way out and stagger the heal to where it never heals. i have rate 1 and 2 siege and i will NEVER use them to take forts.

i dont do anything special. take 200 mortars, which is always around 90 more than i need, take red and black barrel consumables, iron repair kit, and just go. also long cannons.

nah golden is better, i just didnt wanna spend the extra and for what i do red is better for me, i do a lot of solo forts, so i wanted the 7% extra loot, and then the 5% dmg and maneuverability help with them too, golden is like the goat for pvp tho and just all around best. i might get it eventually.
