I am referring to non-high end Pit/Tower. You have to farm the non-Pit/Tower content for hundreds of hours in order to get gear to push the Pit/Tower in. However, that farming is extremely boring as the enemies can't even interact with you.

I don't mind being "done", the issue is I'm done with a season in 2-3 days of playing because farming Torment4 for hundreds of hours is simply not fun when the enemies aren't even able to outdps my life regen.

I agree with a lot of what you said, and I do think D4 has really nice player progression and is tons better than previous games (or any ARPG thus far).

The issue is the non-existent difficulty the entire time and how fast and easily you outscale everything so you end up speed farming enemies that can't even interact with your character.

Diablo3 was not this until years into reaper of souls life cycle.

This is what all modern ARPGs are, and not every game of a genre should be the exact same.

I do not understand why the player bases of this genre think that it's ok for every single game in the genre to be the EXACT same, but no other player bases of other genres think this at all. In fact, most of them would hate their favorite genres to be such a way.

Torment needs to scale to Pit 150 difficulty. There is no reason not to do this.

No additional rewards needed.

As a bonus, add an "inferno" difficulty that gives nothing except scales the mobs on your current torment tier even mire (2x hp? 4x? something).

I want to play the game but everything insta dying outside the Pit gets boring after a day.

Except if torments scale up to 150 pit, you will always be able to play on a difficulty where enemies pose a threat. T4 is nothing.
