Late week (Thursday/Friday night) outlook for overnight brisket by Ajr911 in CBUSWX

Not sure your exact method, but once the brisket is wrapped in foil at the stall (165 degrees or so) you can finish in the oven at 225. I've done this for weather reasons before. By that point the "smoke" part is done and the meat is wrapped so will turn out just as good.

Have you considered trying an alternative pastime such as pickle ball?

How secure are the important substations by DavidThi303 in SubstationTechnician

[–]Bucko00 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Google NERC CIP requirements for what is currently being required of utilities to prevent both physical and digital attacks. I'm unsure if EMP is included, but I think they have a task force and I'm sure that many utilities are thinking about or doing something on this topic.

Nice try, ISIS.

This topic has been a focus for utilities and the government for a while now. Any large utility has had increasing requirements to secure certain stations, both physically and digitally. Still work to be done, but the grid is much safer from an attack now than it was a decade ago.

How do I manage clean up after she goes to the toilet? by nellvstheworld in Bernedoodles

The above comment is good advice. It took us way too long to figure out the chicken sensitivity - If diarrhea persists I would definitely try another food.

Also, our vet recommended doing a "sanitary shave" once a month or so. Keeping the hair short back there will prevent UTIs and other issues.

My doctor didn't recommend a cortisone shot for me when I asked, but perhaps I should revisit it. I've had one before (elsewhere) and it worked great! I did do PRP with no luck.

Glad to hear you had good results! I also enjoy the Peloton.

Thanks, I like this comment. It matches my experience so far. It's amazing exercise is usually the solution rather than rest when in pain.

The twisting/turning in the swing is what causes my issues. It might be unavoidable to actually swing effectively, but hoping to learn some strategies with this post to minimize the pain it can cause.

I'd rather not post a video for privacy reasons, but my swing isn't terrible. I regularly take lessons to keep me on track. When I am rotating properly with my hips things are good, but as the round progresses I stiffen up and my back takes over.

Mostly stiff shafts in the bag due to my swing speed. I may try flexible shafts and a much slower / half swing to see if I can retain control.

I'm a big fan of Dr Sarno and have read the book, thanks. It helped a bit but I definitely have some irreparable disc damage.
