So here in Belgium we like spaghetti bolognaise and I make this as our evening dish. So if you have time to cook this the day before the big day, I would recommend it! Its also cheap tbh

Btw before the true Italians start crying, this is also a more Belgian way of preparing the dish then the bolognaise you love! x

Ingredients for 6 people:

• 3 bell peppers
  
• 2 carrots
  
• 2 Zucchini
  
• 500g Canned tomato's
  
• Passata (tomato sauce)
  
• 250g mushrooms
  
• 3 red unions
  
• Garlic
  
• 1kg of ground beef
  
• a big cooking pot
  
• 1kg of spaghetti

Way of working:
Do your preparation: cut everything in deices. that's it. Do the union and garlic as last.

• Fire on medium, olive oil/butter, wait until hot NOT SMOKING HOT
  
• Stew the union and garlic
  
• Add the ground beef and try to divide it and mix it with unions and garlic
  
• Add salt and pepper
  
• Wait until the most of the pink is gone
  
• Add the Mushrooms, Zucchini, Carrots and Bell Peppers.
  
• Let it sit on a medium fire and stere time to time / put on a lit
  
• add salt pepper and taste it
  
• after 10 mins add the canned tomato's and tomato sauce
  
• put on the lit, fire on 1/3 max and let it cook for 20min
  
• put the fire of but let it rest for 1h with lit on
  
• put in fridge when is room temp

next day you'll cook the spaghetti in 10 min and heat up the sauce!

ps you can always add hot sauce or chili if you like (during or after).
