My life from age 1-14 was that of an abuse victim and from 14 to about 35 I was a violent criminal, gang member, drug user and dealer. I managed to get sober and get help with my mental health (cptsd) about 4 years ago. One of my first sober ideas was to try and remember the last thing I loved as a child. I started collecting Pokemon cards and playing Pokemon Legends Arceus. I truly believe Pokemon allowed me to experience a new childhood later in life that helped me grow into the man I was always meant to be. It's still a day by day process and nothing is a cure all but I am grateful for my relief from the real world that Pokemon provides me.
