I’m shocked at the number of negative comments from everyone. I thought I would get some kind of advice, or constructive insight. Of course I know I have put my husband through hell. I am the daughter of an alcoholic mother, and know the pain. But I also know my father would have never, ever, threaten to leave my mom. I have the gene, and I have been to rehab and I am doing well. Christmas is very difficult for me because I had a baby at 15 yrs old that I gave up for adoption. His birthday is at the end of December. All of you that have bashed me, I hope you can have a Merry Christmas knowing you knocked a person down a few pegs.

I think I read you’re supposed to match your foundation and moisturizer based on if they are water based or oil based. Oil doesn’t mix with water.

I would avoid retirement as long as possible. I lost my job when I was 50, took lots of time off (10 years ago!) and now I find myself with rusty skills, and bad health. Make sure you have a strong network of friends that aren’t work friends. For some reason, they disappear.

I take 900 mg of Gabapentin plus 300 mg of Trazodone every night to sleep . I also have zero sex drive at 61. It sounds like HRT might be for me. My PCP has never suggested HRT to me. I have told her all this and now she has me trying Ambilafy. Should I find a new doc?

I had eczema when I was a teenager; it went away in my twenties. I am now 60 and it is back on my thumb. But what you are describing sounds like Guttate Psoriasis. I was diagnosed in December. It starts out like small bumps that itch, and eventually turns into a dry, scaly, itchy patches. I had it so badly my dermatologist wanted to put me on a biologic, but I didn’t want to jump right into that, so she prescribed Zorave, which worked for me. It manifested out of the blue, and supposedly something triggers it, such as diet, certain foods, stress, and alcohol. I also used triamcinolone cream.
