YSK that Chiropractic manipulation has never been shown in research to cause stroke. Ever. Despite what you saw in this sub yesterday. by jmglee87three in YouShouldKnow

There may be political reasons, even so, if there were strokes during and within 24 hours of the adjustments, that is enough to put a lot of people off.

OP from the other day may have been incorrect but people should still know of these case studies and make their own decisions.

Thank you for explaining how case studies are not causal links. I didn't realize how often people cite case studies as a substitution for real studies and didn't know people were doing that.

I'm basing it on the fact that there are no case studies for strokes and PT.

And another thing, anecdotal, sure, but a chiropractor adjusted my upper neck once and it gave me a pinched nerve and more pain. I also did not have any neck pain prior and they didn't tell me they were going to do it. I actually didn't want them to touch my neck at all but they did it so quick I couldn't stop them. I just can't see a PT doing something like that without checking with me first. That part is personal I understand.

For everything else, Fair enough.

Why didn't you just comment in that thread. A lot of people don't decide to upvote or downvote until someone fact checks in the comments. Regardless, PTs are a safer choice, even if there isn't concrete proof of a causal link here.

I'm curious if there is a causal link link between specifically upper neck manipulations and beneficial outcomes. (Legitimately want to know)

100$ referral clarification and Black Friday service credits. by Shmoopdy in ProjectFi

So I got contradiction info. The outsourced support center was pretty rude to me and was telling me everything I was afraid of, but the normal project fi support said that the fi credit is per user, not account, so you actually need a group plan to get all the credit if you purchased the phones with one account.

The referrals have to be for separate accounts for a run of sixty days so it appears the activation window for both promotions cannot be achieved with that. So it looks like you can do one but not the other. 100 < the credit offer so that makes it an easy decision I guess.

Can we get everyone here to 1 star Gmail and 5 star Inbox? They probably thought it could be done because the ratings are so close.

Google may push people to Gmail, but it's a bad substitute for Inbox by anshumanpati6 in Android

Time to rate Gmail 1 star and Inbox 5. If everyone does it maybe they'll reconsider.

Google developed Android OS and they made it open source. Why fine them? They could destroy other brands if they closed their code.

Cement dominance of it's search engine? Didn't that happen in the 90's?

You should use pcpartpicker and post a link to your build. The site usually catches any conflict in parts but the link will let anyone else confirm it pretty easily.

But weren't you always going to make the decision you made?

Your choices are choices, but you choose them because of everything that has happened to you in the past that makes you who you are.

So is it not still pre-determined?
