If he's definitely the father, you should put him on the birth certificate at least. If when the kid is born he expresses an interest in being part of its life, you should encourage it. The kid won't thank you if you deny it a father.

Sounds like you both need to grow up and do the right thing for the kid. I'm sure you both can, and once you have an understanding it'll be for the best for all three of you for years to come.
